  • Publication number: 20120240972
Abstract: In a solar cell module bonding structure, a solar cell module (1) is bonded to a support member (3) via an adhesive material (2), by combined use of at least two adhesive materials (2a, 2b). The adhesive materials are disposed in mutually different bonding regions and have mutually different temperature characteristics of elasticity. An adhesive material (2) exhibits a peeling strength, wherein there is no peeling over a broad temperature range.

  • Publication number: 20120160305
Abstract: A solar cell module laminated body includes a solar cell module and a supporting body, such as a metal plate, resin sheet, or tile, which supports the solar cell module. The solar cell module is bonded to the supporting body using an adhesive layer, which has a structure in which a minimum necessary adhesive area is calculated based on the ratio of a minimum adhesive strength required for the solar cell module laminated body and an adhesive strength of the solar cell module and adhesive layer, and an amount of adhesive used is kept to a minimum. According to this structure, cost is reduced in accordance with the amount of adhesive used. Consequently, it is possible to balance a reduction in the cost of the solar cell module laminated body and sufficient adhesive strength.

  • Publication number: 20120132279
Abstract: The invention provides a solar cell module stacked member in which a pressure sensitive-type adhesive for bonding together a support member and a solar cell module is not photodegraded, and there is no concern of separation of the support member and the solar cell module. In a solar cell module stacked member in which a support member and a solar cell module having an internal solar cell element are stacked, the support member and the solar cell module are bonded together; the support member and the solar cell module are bonded together by a reaction hardening-type adhesive in an outer rim portion of the solar cell module irradiated with sunlight; and the support member and the solar cell module are bonded together by a pressure sensitive-type adhesive in a portion which is on the inside of the outer rim portion of the solar cell module and in which sunlight is blocked.

  • Publication number: 20120067393
Abstract: Aspects of the invention provide a solar cell module with a pressure sensitive adhesive member. The solar cell module with a pressure sensitive adhesive member can include a flexible solar cell module and a pressure sensitive adhesive member that is arranged so as to cover at least a portion of the rear surface of the flexible solar cell module. The storage modulus G? of the pressure sensitive adhesive member can be in the range of 0.02 MPa to 0.7 MPa under the use conditions of the flexible solar cell module. Another aspect of the invention can provide a support member integrated solar cell module including a solar cell module with a pressure sensitive adhesive member and a support member integrated with each other.

  • Publication number: 20120060892
Abstract: Aspects of the invention relate to connecting internal wiring lines to multiple sheet-shaped photoelectric conversion elements without damaging flexibility. Sub-metal foil lines can be arranged so as to come into contact with rear electrode layers of photoelectric conversion elements. The sub-metal foil line can be fixed to the rear electrode layer by an adhesive tape. In addition, the sub-metal foil line can be folded such that a main metal foil line is interposed between the folded portions of the sub-metal foil line. In this way, the main metal foil line is connected to the sub-metal foil line. The sub-metal foil line can be fixed to the rear electrode layer by an adhesive tape.

  • Patent number: 5865904
Abstract: For reduced electrical resistance of series connections between columns of photoelectric conversion elements in a flexible photoelectric conversion module, the columns are connected by a flexible connecting member which connects terminal electrodes at the ends of the columns. Manufacture of the module is especially convenient when the flexible connecting member is a conductive tape as also used for the terminals.
