  • Publication number: 20110195318
Abstract: A lithium ion battery capable of maintaining for a long time fire resistance of a nonaqueous electrolytic solution at a time of battery abnormality to secure safety is provided. In the lithium ion battery, two kinds of organic solvent, EC and DEC, are used for mixed organic solvent which forms the nonaqueous electrolytic solution, and liquid flame retardant formed by phosphazene A having a boiling point closely to that of EC and phosphazene B having a boiling point closely to that of DEC is added to the electrolytic solution. At battery abnormality, when the battery temperature goes up due to internal short circuit of positive and negative electrodes caused by melting of separators to decompose each of EC and DEC, the phosphazene A and B, each having the boiling point closely to that of EC and DEC, decompose timely to function, thereby fire resistance of the electrolytic solution can be maintained for a long time to secure safety of the battery at the time of battery abnormality.

  • Publication number: 20110159329
Abstract: A manganese non-aqueous electrolyte battery having safety at a time of battery abnormality and having a long life span is provided. A battery 20 has a cylindrical container 7 having a bottom. An electrode group 6 where a positive electrode plate that a spinel-related lithium manganese complex oxide is used as a positive electrode active material and a negative electrode plate that a carbon material is used as a negative electrode active material are wound via separators W5, is accommodated in the container 7. The electrode group 6 is infiltrated by an electrolytic solution in which LiBF4 is added as an electrolyte to organic solvent. Further, a phosphazene flame retardant is added at 10 wt % to the electrolytic solution. The electrolytic solution hardly catches fire at a time of battery abnormality and manganese elution can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 7896236
Abstract: A portable terminal, when receiving an exchange offer message of electronic values from a portable terminal, notifies an application program of an exchange offer content based on a listener corresponding to the message. When the application program accepts this offer content and when electronic values are determined as exchange objects, the portable terminal returns an exchange confirmation message of the electronic values. When the portable terminal receives the exchange confirmation message, it notifies an application program of an exchange content based on a listener corresponding to the message. When the application program accepts the exchange content, the exchange transaction of electronic values is started.

  • Patent number: 7865438
Abstract: A user device uses, instead of agreement information, only second session information contained in the agreement information, to generate an electronic signature for information containing the session information and information indicating an abort request, and outputs abort request information containing the session information, the information indicating the abort request, and the electronic signature, whereby transmission/reception can be performed without unnecessary information. Similarly, it may be configured to use only the second session information to generate an electronic signature for information containing the session information and information indicating a commitment request, and to output commitment request information containing the electronic signature. Since a third-party device defines a third session state as abort in correspondence to the second session information, it is able to manage states while appropriately discriminating a plurality of concurrent electronic value exchanges.

  • Patent number: 7861293
Abstract: In a mobile terminal that performs transmission and reception of a message between an IC card and a terminal program, the security is improved by preventing an imposture of a source of a message or an interception of a message. A mobile terminal comprises an IC card and a terminal program. The terminal program generates a program identifier (i1:1) from a domain ID “i1” of the IC card and a port number “1” that can be updated in the IC card. Then, a message is transmitted, the source ID of which is the program identifier and the destination ID of which is the identifier “i1:0” of the IC card. Upon receipt of the message, the IC card collates the domain ID with the domain ID that the IC card has, as to the source ID. When they coincide, processing in accordance with the contents of the above-mentioned message is performed.

  • Publication number: 20090199005
Abstract: The security of an IC card is improved by managing success and failure in authentication individually for each terminal program. An IC card includes a random number generation section, a source authentication section, and a process execution section. Upon receipt of a message of type “1”, the random number generation section generates a random number n, and stores it in a random number storage section by associating the random number n with a source included in the message. Upon receipt of a message of type “2” from the source and in a case where the random number n corresponding to the source is stored, the source authentication section collates a value m calculated from an authentication key held by the IC card and the random number n with a value m included in the message of type “2”. When both values agree, upon receipt of a message of type “3” from the source, the process execution section executes a process in accordance with a type of the message.
