Publication number: 20160229188Abstract: A printer is provided with a discharging head that discharges ink, a supporting base that supports a medium, and a cap that receives an ink droplet discharged from the discharging head at the time of maintenance (flushing) implementation. The supporting base and the cap are moved between an ascending position (a supporting position and a flushing position) facing the discharging head along different moving routes and a retractable position. When positions of the supporting base and the cap are replaced with each other so as to perform the flushing during the printing, if the supporting base is firstly retracted from the supporting position, and then a first sensor which detects the supporting base is turned on, the cap ascends from the retractable position. After the flushing, if the cap firstly descends, and then a second sensor which detects the cap is turned on, the supporting base starts to ascend.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 4, 2016Publication date: August 11, 2016Inventors: Tomoyoshi KAKEGAWA, Masayuki TOKUNAGA, Akinori MUROMACHI

Publication number: 20160210936Abstract: A luminance correction device according to the present embodiment is used for an image display device comprising a display part displaying an image, a frame part provided at an outer edge of the display part, and a lens part provided across a boundary part between the display part and the frame part and to face the display part. The luminance correction device comprises an input part, a correction coefficient generator, a luminance corrector, and an output part. The input part inputs an input luminance value. The correction coefficient generator generates a correction coefficient based on the input luminance value. The luminance corrector calculates an output luminance value by multiplying the input luminance value by the correction coefficient. The output part outputs the output luminance value to the display part.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 26, 2015Publication date: July 21, 2016Inventors: Masayuki Tokunaga, Yoshiharu Momonoi

Publication number: 20140364965Abstract: According to one embodiment, a function control device includes an interface, an acquisition module, and a controller. The interface is connectable to at least one of multiple types of function adding devices. The acquisition module acquires, from the function adding device connected via the interface, function information indicating a function executed by the function adding device. The controller accesses, upon controlling the function indicated by the function information acquired by the acquisition module, an address which is determined as a common address for the function identified by the function information and which is in a storage module comprised in the function adding device connected via the interface.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 25, 2014Publication date: December 11, 2014Inventors: Yutaka YAMADA, Masayuki TOKUNAGA

Publication number: 20140184547Abstract: According to one embodiment, information processor includes touch panel, display, and transmitter. The touch panel corresponds to each of plurality of display areas and is capable of detecting operation by touch operation with respect to the display areas. A first display screen of external display device is split as the display areas. The display includes a second display screen displaying a plurality of operating area images that make operating areas corresponding to the respective display areas identifiable on the touch panel . The touch panel is arranged on second display screen side. The transmitter transmits, upon detection of the operation by which changing size of at least one of the operating areas is instructed, a change instruction by which changing size of at least one of the display areas corresponding to the at least one of the operating areas having the changed size is instructed, to the external display device.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 21, 2014Publication date: July 3, 2014Applicant: Kabushiki Kaisha ToshibaInventor: Masayuki TOKUNAGA

Publication number: 20130222558Abstract: According to one embodiment, pixel processor includes: storage module; first adder; and second adder. Storage module stores initial parallax, initial coordinate, parallax difference, and coordinate difference. Initial parallax represents parallax of predetermined pixel. Initial coordinate represents coordinate of parallax image information of the predetermined pixel. Parallax difference is for calculating, from parallax of one pixel, parallax of other pixel. Coordinate difference is for calculating, from coordinate of parallax image information of one pixel, coordinate of parallax image information of other pixel. First adder adds the parallax difference to the initial parallax to calculate parallax of other pixel, and repeats adding the parallax difference to the calculated parallax to calculate parallax of each pixel.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2012Publication date: August 29, 2013Inventors: Yutaka YAMADA, Masayuki Tokunaga, Tatsuo Saishu

Patent number: 4240672Abstract: A flow restriction between the control chamber of the expansion valve of the anti-skid device and the pump of the device prevents the expansion valve from moving as soon as the spool valve arrangement which opens the fail safe pressure transmission path and closes the normal path. The expansion chamber of the expansion valve is thus, in the case of pump failure, isolated from the pressure reservoir like effect of the pressure stored in the wheel cylinder(s) and the conduit between the skid device and the wheel cylinder(s) and therefore does not move as far before pressure equalization occurs across the expansion valve as in the case when a normal anti-skid operation is performed and the pressure in the wheel cylinder and the conduit is fully received in the expansion chamber. A switch incorporated in the anti-skid device is closed only when the expansion valve moves beyond the position assumed during pump failure.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 1979Date of Patent: December 23, 1980Assignee: Nissan Motor Company, LimitedInventors: Masayuki Tokunaga, Yoshio Otsuka
