  • Patent number: 7561856
Abstract: In a network employing code division multiplex access, a distortion compensation amplifying apparatus is provided which is capable of making quick response to carry out the distortion compensation with high accuracy even if the signal power to be inputted thereto varies rapidly. In this distortion compensation amplifying apparatus, the renewal of a distortion compensation coefficient in a renewing unit is complemented on the basis of a result of amplification in an amplifier with respect to a signal code-division-multiplexed in a pseudo-signal multiplexing unit.

  • Patent number: 5987078
Abstract: A carrier regenerating circuit used for a demodulator which demodulates many-valued orthogonal amplitude modulation signals. The carrier regenerating circuit consists of a first PLL (phase-locked loop) section, including a detector for detecting an intermediate-frequency signal using a local oscillator, a phase error detecting section and a first loop filter, which feeds back phase error information to the local oscillator via the first loop filter; and a second PLL (phase-locked loop) section, including a frequency control section a second loop filter, which feeds back a frequency control signal to the local oscillator via the second loop filter by performing an updating operation by means of the frequency control section when a mark ratio due to the phase error information deviates from a predetermined range.

  • Patent number: 5695395
Abstract: A coin dispensing apparatus having a simple construction and capable of dispensing coins securely and easily. A guide member is arranged extending along a tangent to a column formed in the center of rotation of the disk, whereby the coins can be smoothly transported along the guide member by means of a force from first protrusions without applying an impulsive force to the first protrusions and the guide member. Each coin transported to a predetermined position by the associated first protrusion is further transported to the outside of the transportation limit of the first protrusion by a second protrusion which is associated with a subsequent through hole, and is delivered securely to a coin dispensing port. A stirring rod having a rigid portion with an elliptic section and a rod with a circular section is fixed to the center of rotation of the disk, and the coins in a hopper are stirred by the protuberances on the outer peripheral surface of the rigid portion.

  • Patent number: 5450937
Abstract: A paper currency discriminating device which is improved to prevent the illegal extraction of paper currency more reliably. An impeller 10 associated in the rotating direction of timing belts 14 for transferring the paper currency is so disposed at the exit of a paper currency transfer passage 6 as to protrude upward over the paper currency transfer face of an upper transfer plate 3. Moreover, the impeller 10 at the time of introducing the paper currency is inhibited from backward rotation to prevent any illegal extraction of the paper currency once introduced. At the same time, a decision signal is outputted after it is detected by a passage detection sensor P3 that the trailing end of the paper currency being transferred reaches the impeller 10 over an extraction preventing lever 33. As a result, it is possible to prevent the illegal use of the paper currency by the extraction which is done before the end of the introduction.

  • Patent number: 5377805
Abstract: A first bill feeding plate 33 and a second bill feeding plate 34 cooperatively constitute a bill feeding passage 31 of a bill discrimination apparatus 1. The first bill feeding plate 33 is formed at a bottom of a casing 67, which is swingably supported on the second bill feeding plate 34 through a hinge shaft 36. An opening lever 82, having an engaging hook 83 and an operating projection 84, is swingably supported at a distal end of the casing 67. The first bill feeding plate 33 is fixed to the second feeding plate 34 when the engaging hook 83 is engaged with an engaging piece 94. Pulling up the operating projection 84 causes the opening lever 82 to start a swing motion about a bearing piece 87.This causes the engaging hook 83 to separate from the engaging piece 94, and the casing 67 rotates in a counterclockwise direction. Thus, the first bill feeding plate 33 separates from the second bill feeding plate 34 to widely open the bill feeding passage.

  • Patent number: 5333714
Abstract: In a bill discriminating apparatus, a bill stacking unit is adapted for detachable attachment to a bill discriminating unit at both an up-stacking position and a down-stacking position. At the up-stacking position the stacking unit is arranged at a position higher than the bill discriminating unit whereas at the down-stacking position the stacking unit is arranged at a position lower than the bill discriminating unit. The bill stacking unit is detachably attached by a detachable attaching mechanism to the bill discriminating unit at one of both the up-stacking position and the down-stacking position. A torque is transmitted by a torque transmitting mechanism from a drive mechanism of a bill conveyer of the bill discriminating unit to a drive pulley of the stack conveyer of the stacking unit.

  • Patent number: 5254841
Abstract: It is judged whether or not a bill, inserted from a bill inlet, is genuine, and then the bill is passed to a bill stacking position through a bill passage only when it is judged that the bill is genuine. The bill is pushed into an accumulating box by rotating an eccentric cam of a stacker unit at the bill stacking position when the a shutter switch becomes on after the bill passes a shutter plate and a pull out preventing lever. The eccentric cam is held at a top dead center. A bill pull out preventing apparatus includes a pull out preventing lever having a distal end portion. The distal end portion is curved to define a hook groove. The lever is arranged so that the distal end portion is directed away from the insert slot. The lever is spring biased to swing about a pivot to block the bill passage.

  • Patent number: 5195739
Abstract: An apparatus for preventing a bill from being pulled out. The apparatus includes a hang preventing mechanism which has a tongue for preventing a bill from hanging from a bill accumulating box into a bill passage. The bill is conveyed through the bill passage to the bill accumulating box. The hang preventing mechanism is pivotally supported and is spring biased by a biasing mechanism for holding the tongue to prevent a bill, received in the bill accumulating box, from hanging from the bill accumulating box while the tongue is allowed to turn by a bill which passes through the bill passage for entering the bill accumulating box.

  • Patent number: 4847475
Abstract: Disclosed is a read/write apparatus for magnetic card, which includes a card conveyance passage along which a flexible magnetic card is guided. The passage has a direction changing portion where the direction of the passage is gradually changed, and a downstream portion where the passage extends vertically of the apparatus. By virtue of this arrangement the apparatus can be small in depth size and have a thin body. When an additional insertion button of the apparatus is depressed by a customer, zero value is written on the magnetic card and the card is returned. Upon insertion of an additional card, the sum of the balance of the additional card and the previous card is transmitted to an external information processing unit installed in a vending machine, to permit a single sales operation within the sum of the balances.
