  • Patent number: 7654792
Abstract: Blower made up of at least two axially stacked, interlocking fans. Each fan is enclosed in a housing the axially opposite ends of which are flanged. Opposing flats on immediately neighboring flanges are formed with complementary twist-locking features. The twist-locking features are configured in such a way that when the fans are stacked, the opposing flats will not be in contact with each other unless the housings are twisted out of axial alignment to bring the opposing flats flush together, and such that with the opposing flats flush in contact, twisting the housings back into axial alignment locks them together.

  • Publication number: 20090322133
Abstract: In a seat (10), in a state in which tilting of a back main frame (16) around a tilting center (16A) is locked by a reclining mechanism (18), a lower end of a back joint link (26) is turnably joined to a vehicle side. Thus, turning of a first link (22), a back sub frame (24) and the back joint link (26) is locked, and operation of a back link mechanism (14) is locked. Therefore, a supporting rigidity from rear side of a back side portion (12B) can be enhanced by the back link mechanism (14) (the back sub frame (24)), and a crew sitting in the seat (10) can be thoroughly retained.

  • Publication number: 20090302652
Abstract: When a seat (10) is to be stowed, a seat pad (28) is moved toward a seat (10) reverse side, pad side portions (32) are rotated toward the seat (10) reverse side with respect to a pad center portion (30), and a center portion (12) and side portions (14) of the seat (10) are contracted. Here, interlockingly with contraction of the side portions (14), a skin (42) is bent and folded in at portions covering distal ends of vertical walls (22) of a wall panel (18) and at second fixing portions (42B). Due thereto, slack of the skin (42) at seat (10) lateral direction end surfaces can be taken in.

  • Publication number: 20090283623
Abstract: A recording-paper-roll supporting device includes first and second members. The first member includes an insertion portion, a supporting portion at an end of the insertion portion, and a support shaft at an end of the supporting portion. The supporting portion includes an outer peripheral surface, insertion-portion-side cam surfaces at different phases and heights, a collar portion, support-shaft-side cam surfaces at different phases and heights, and a cut section. The second member includes a cylindrical portion, a flange portion, a cam follower, and an engaging claw. When the outer peripheral surface is inserted along the inner peripheral surface and the cam follower and the engaging claw are selectively engaged with the insertion-portion-side cam surfaces and the support-shaft-side cam surfaces, the engaging claw is elastically deformed and generates a reactive force which presses the cam follower so that the second member is positioned on the supporting portion.

  • Publication number: 20090256379
Abstract: A vehicular seat device assumes, as seat arrangements, a seating state and in which an occupant can sit, an entry/exit state in which the seat cushion (12) is in a standing state, and a retracted state in which a seatback (14) is superimposed on an upper side of the seat cushion (12). The vehicular seat device has a first linking member (21), a second linking member (22) and a drive mechanism (16) that are capable of changing the posture of the seat cushion (12) synchronously with the tilting of the seatback (14). Since the seat arrangement is changed synchronously with the tilting of the seatback (14), it is possible to reduce the burden of operation on an occupant in changing the seat arrangement, while allowing various seat arrangements.
