    Abstract: A photographic film like a microfilm is maintained on a focal plane by suction. A film support having a vacuum suction holes is made of a drafty material to allow draft while the film is maintained flat on the surface thereof by suction. Further, the film support has cushion to protect the film from scratches. Thus, the film can be fed on while being kept flat on a focal plane on the film support.
