  • Patent number: 8375645
Abstract: A sliding door device has a first pin body provided, at a floor surface; a guide member provided at the door and having a guide groove in which the first pin body fits when the door is closed; and a second pin body that is provided on the floor surface and can be fit in a door groove formed at the door bottom. When the closed door slides in an opening direction and toward the back side of the wall surface, the guide member moves relatively along the first pin body while the first pin body is fit in the guide groove of the guide member. When the door slides further in the opening direction, the second pin body gets in the door groove of the door, and the door slides along the second pin body while the second pin body is fit in the sliding groove of the door.

  • Patent number: 8365359
Abstract: A hinge device increases an open angle of a second member relative to a first member without enlarging the hinge device. A first pulley is fixed to a first mounting member mounted on the first member. A second pulley is fixed to a second mounting member mounted on the second member. A timing belt runs between the first and second pulleys. One end of a connecting member that connects the first mounting member to the second connecting member connects rotatably to an axis part of the first mounting member, with the opposite end connected rotatably to an axis part of the second mounting member. Pins to that abut to the outside of the timing belt are provided such that the width between one side and the opposite side of the timing belt becomes smaller than the diameter of at least one of the first pulley and the second pulley.

  • Patent number: 7375936
Abstract: As a result that a switching circuit switches between a first power source for supplying power when illuminating a light emitting diode and a second power source for supplying a predetermined bias to the light emitting diode, a reference signal output from a reference power source is compared with a leak current of an LED lighting device using the light emitting diode, a control signal is generated based on the comparison result, and a display means displays a leakage result when the leak current of the lighting device using the light emitting diode is higher than a reference value; a bias is set to a value, by which a current flowing to the light emitting diode can be ignored, and a leak current flowing to the lighting device using the light emitting diode is detected.

  • Publication number: 20080088244
Abstract: To provide a variable color illumination apparatus enabling illumination with a suitable colors even when characteristics change in accordance with aging or other aspects of the environment and having a reproducibility of colors stable for a long period. The variable color illumination apparatus has light sources (15) of at least two colors, a control device (30) for independently performing light adjustments of the respective light sources (15), one light receiving device (83) for detecting light emission amounts of light sources (15), a memory device (71) storing light quantity ratios of the respective light sources (15) preset for obtaining desired light colors, and a central processing unit (50) for finding changes between light quantity ratios of the respective light sources (15) detected at the light receiving device (83) and preset light quantity ratios and outputting the changes as correction outputs to the control device (30).

  • Patent number: 5996281
Abstract: A safety auxiliary apparatus for an automatic door assembly includes a single door or first and second doors slidable along a predetermined track for selectively opening and closing the doorway, first and second mutually confronting closure faces being defined by said first and second doors or said single door in cooperation with a brace. A casing accommodating therein a light emitting element for emitting a beam for detection of an object and a light receiving element for receiving the beam from the light emitting element is mounted in a longitudinal frame member of the doors or said brace that define respectively said closure faces, so that an optical path can be defined between said closure faces so as to extend from the light emitting element to the light receiving element.

  • Patent number: 5450230
Abstract: The present invention relates to a light shutter array which has shutter elements made of an electro-optical material. The quantity of light transmitted by each shutter element in the array is measured, and a limit is set relative to the smallest measured value such that the transmitted light quantity distribution of the light shutter array would be regarded substantially even if all shutter elements transmitted light within the limit. To achieve such a substantially even distribution, shutter elements which transmit light over the limit are subjected to trimming. Since trimmed regions on a shutter element do not transmit light, the quantity of light transmitted through a trimmed shutter element is lowered in proportion to the area of the trimmed region. Alternatively, individual electrodes and/or portions of a common electrode corresponding to the shutter elements which transmit light over the limit are trimmed.
