  • Patent number: 8246789
Abstract: A treatment system for a watery material that includes: a dewatering tank in which liquefied matter of a material that is gaseous at a normal temperature and a normal pressure is contacted with the watery material and the watery material is separated into the resultant watery material and a liquid phase that contains an aqueous component from the watery material; an evaporator that vaporizes the material that is gaseous at a normal temperature and a normal pressure from the liquid phase; a separator that separates a gas of the material thus vaporized from effluent water; a condenser that condenses the gas into liquefied matter, two or more external heat sources selected from atmosphere, sewage, warm effluent water, and ground water; an external heat temperature detector that detects temperatures of external heats of the external heat sources; and an external heat supply destination controlling unit.

  • Publication number: 20100108600
Abstract: A method and apparatus for treatment of a water-containing material. The method includes: (A) bringing a liquid of a substance in a gaseous state under normal temperature and pressure conditions into contact with a water-containing material; (B) obtaining a liquid layer through solid-liquid separation from a treated product resulting from (A); (C) vaporizing and extracting at least a portion of the substance that is in the gaseous state under normal temperature and pressure conditions as gas from the liquid layer obtained from (B); and (D) collecting a lower layer resulting from liquid-liquid separation conducting on a liquid layer resulting from (C). The method and apparatus achieve efficient treatment of a water-containing material and allow the material after the treatment to be recycled as a resource.

  • Patent number: 4611029
Abstract: A process for continuously hydrolyzing ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer which comprises feeding a methanol solution in which an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having ethylene of 25 to 50 % by mole into the upper portion of a tower reactor and supplying an alkaline catalyst into the middle portion of the tower, and blowing a methanol vapor into the lower portion of the tower to remove a methyl acetate vapor together with a methanol vapor from the top of the tower and taking out the highly hydrolyzed ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer from the bottom of the tower, and whereby a highly hydrolyzed ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is easily obtained in the presence of a small amount of alkaline catalyst.

  • Patent number: 4058904
Abstract: Process for drying wet particles of hydrolyzed ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer under the specific condition as follows:A. a pressure in a dryer of not more than 120 mmHg,B. a temperature of the heating surface of dryer of not more than 100.degree. C., andC. T .times. .theta..sup.0.6 .ltoreq. 320, wherein T is a temperature (.degree. C.) of the heating surface of dryer and .theta. is a residence time (hour) of the particles in the dryer. The thus obtained particles have excellent molding properties.
