    Abstract: A system manages resources based on a hardware transactional memory unit. The system stores a system profile map comprising system profiles of applications. The system profile of an application stores information describing system resource utilization of the application. If a request for resources for executing a new application is received, a hardware transactional memory unit determines an amount of memory to be allocated for executing the new application and allocates memory partitions for executing the new application. The system profile of the new application is compared with system profiles in the system profile map. If there are any indicators of compromise representing potential compromise of the new application the request for resources for the new application is denied. The system generates and uses true random numbers.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and techniques for test an application in a cloud environment. A method can include selecting an application hosted at a virtualized computing environment of an application hosting platform for a test session. Method further includes selecting a set of users associated with the application hosting platform to execute the application during the test session, select a set of observers associated with the application hosting platform to monitor the set of users. The method further includes initiating the test session, authenticating the set of users, causing content data corresponding to the application to be streamed to a user device of each user. The method further includes causing a video stream of the test session to be transmitted to a user device of a corresponding observer for presentation in a observer graphical user interface (GUI), the video stream reflecting interactions of the user with the content of the application.

    Abstract: A method includes determining that a reference video frame of a predicted frame or a bi-predicted frame, corresponding to a point in time of beginning of a non-sequential playback of video data and currently being decoded, is unavailable or corrupt. The method also includes determining if a reference video frame utilized most recently with reference to the point in time to decode another video frame is available in the memory. Further, the method includes decoding the predicted frame or the bi-predicted frame based on employing the reference video frame utilized most recently as a reference video frame thereof if the reference video frame utilized most recently is determined to be available; if not, the decoding is based on employing a video frame of the video data in the memory temporally closest to the point in time as the reference video frame of the predicted frame or the bi-predicted frame.
