  • Patent number: 8417577
Abstract: A system for viewing shopping information on a social networking platform is disclosed. At the social networking platform, the system receives a request from a user device corresponding to a first user of the social networking platform to view a list of a second user of the social networking platform. The list may include items offered for transaction on a network-based commerce server. In response to receiving the request from the user device, the system forwards the request to the network-based commerce server, and then receives updated information for at least one item on the list from the network-based corner server. Then, the system communicates the updated information received from the network-based commerce server to the user device.

  • Publication number: 20080162537
Abstract: A method and system for utilizing profiles. Browsing data received from a site may be parsed using a behavior file. The behavior file may define how the browsing data is parsed for the site to identify at least one heading and/or topic within the browsing data. The parsed browsing data may be analyzed with an analysis file to identify one or more system generated user interests. The analysis file may define how the parsed browsing data is to be analyzed to generate the system generated user interests. A user profile may be updated with the system generated user interests. The browsing data may be stored as one or more identification data structures. Each identification data structure may include an identified terms field to retain one or more identified terms that are identified when parsing the browsing data and historical data regarding identification of the identified terms within the browsing data.

  • Patent number: 5691500
Abstract: A remotely-actuated fireworks launcher apparatus includes a housing assembly, a signal receiver housed within the housing assembly, an ignition servo electrically connected to the signal receiver and housed with the housing assembly, and a servo-actuated ignition switch operated by the ignition servo. The servo-actuated ignition switch is in an ignition circuit which also includes an electric igniter assembly, and a power supply. A fireworks receiver assembly is attached to the electric igniter assembly. The fireworks receiver assembly receives a fireworks device that is ignited by the electric igniter assembly. A manually operated ignition signal transmitter is actuated to transmit signals for activation of the signal receiver. The servo-actuated ignition switch includes a first switching element operated by the ignition servo and a second switching element selectively connected to or disconnected from the first switching element.
