Abstract: A method for packaging an edible product, includes forming a package with a pouch portion and a pocket portion which communicate through a passage. A handle is inserted through the passage which is then tightly sealed around the handle to avoid any leak between the pouch portion and the pocket portion. The pouch portion is then filled with an edible to make a packaged edible product with a handle.

Abstract: A plant for heat-welding and blow moulding containers having feed apparatus for feeding a thermoformable and heat-weldable plastics material in a preferred direction and a plurality of stations for processing the plastics material to form the containers when in use. The stations, which are located in succession along the preferred direction comprise one or more filling stations to fill the containers with filling material when in use, and at least one station for welding an insert onto a container, each insert defining the opening of a corresponding container. The insert welding station is located upstream of the one or more filling stations in the preferred direction.

Abstract: Equipment for producing thermoformable and heat-sealable containers, each of which comprises an object within it, has one or more thermoforming and heat-sealing work stations and a station for dispensing objects into the containers. At least one of the thermoforming stations is positioned upstream of a station for dispensing objects, which in turn is positioned upstream of a heat-sealing station.

Abstract: A thermowelding station for producing thermoformable and thermoweldable containers of the type comprising welding means for thermowelding predetermined portions of two thermoweldable material strips, thereby defining the contours of a central zone and at least a mouth zone which opens outwards and communicates with the central zone. The thermowelding station further comprises means for forming the mouth zone, which means are selectively movable with respect to the welding means.
