  • Patent number: 10724512
Abstract: It is disclosed a reciprocating compressor having a cylinder body that defines a cylinder; the cylinder may have a cylinder lateral wall and a cylinder axis A and inside it a piston is movable; at least one valve is provided to selectively open and close a valve opening formed in the cylinder lateral wall; cylinder heads at least partially protruding towards the piston inside the cylinder have a recessed surface at least partially facing the valve openings; an intersection between at least a plane containing the cylinder axis A and the recessed surface is a first curve having at least a convex part facing the valve opening.

  • Patent number: 10578091
Abstract: Fluid flow adapter for a cylinder of a reciprocating compressor, the cylinder having a side wall provided with a valve seat, the fluid flow adapter comprising a filler element having an internal surface facing an internal volume of the cylinder and an external surface facing the valve, the filler element having at least a channel connecting the internal surface to the external surface, wherein the internal surface is flush with the side wall of the cylinder, the channel being configured to allow the passage of fluid between the internal volume of the cylinder and the valve.

  • Patent number: 10184464
Abstract: A compressor includes a piston disposed in a housing and configured to be reciprocatably driven in the housing by an electromagnetic drive. A conventional linear motor drive assembly reciprocatably drives the piston in an embodiment. A magnetically-geared drive assembly reciprocatably drives the piston in another embodiment. A solenoid drive assembly reciprocatably drives the piston in another embodiment. A control system is coupled to the drive for varying piston displacement, and an accumulator conserves force by decelerating a translating assembly at the end of one stroke and accelerating the assembly in a subsequent stroke.

  • Patent number: 9981352
Abstract: The tool is designed to carried out maintenance operations on a bearing assembly comprising a bushing split into at least two shells; the maintenance tool comprises a device arranged to act on and rotate the bushing shells. In particular, the device comprises a slide and a pin; the slide has a hole transversal to its sliding direction and the pin is slidably mounted inside the hole and protrudes from the hole; in a first operating position the pin acts on a shell and in a second operating position the pin does not act on any shell. The method provides to rotate the bushing shells without rotating the supported shaft, and to carry out maintenance operations on a shell at a time while leaving the shaft supported by the other shell.
