  • Publication number: 20200047261
Abstract: A key duplicating machine includes a clamp configured to retain a key to be copied, a reader assembly for reading cuts of the key, and a cutting tool for reproducing the cuts on a blank key. The reader includes a support bearing a feeler element with an end which contacts the cuts on the key and is movable with respect to the support along a first reference direction (Y) parallel to a resting plane. A position sensor, in electronic communication with a controller, continuously detects position changes along the first reference direction (Y) of the feeler element with respect to the support. The support or the clamp is movable along at least a second reference direction (X) that is orthogonal to the first reference direction. During movement of the support or clamp along the second reference direction, the reading end maintains contact with the cuts to follow the cut shapes.

  • Publication number: 20180274895
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for reading the profile of a key (5) defined by a head portion (5?) and a shank portion (5?). Such an apparatus comprises a lighting chamber (60) provided with an inlet section (9) for inserting said key and an optical device (50) operatively associated with the chamber (60). The optical device (50) defines an optical axis (200) and is configured to capture at least one image of the profile. The apparatus (1) further comprises a support device (10) which defines a bearing plane (100) for at least one segment of said key (5), in which such a bearing plane (100) is parallel to said optical axis (200). The apparatus further comprises a lighting device configured to illuminate at least one terminal part of the key shank once it has been inserted into the chamber (60).

  • Patent number: 7882711
Abstract: To transfer the stitches from a first needle arc (7X) to a second opposed needle arc (7Y), a overturnable semicircular sector (19) presents elements (25) terminating in a bifurcate way (25F) (flanking inside the respective sinkers (11) the relevant needle (7X) of the first arc), each of which has an upper fork projection (25A) embracing the needle (7X) and forming a rear recess (25X) and a front recess (25C) suitable to engage an end stitch (M1) formed by the corresponding needle (7X), said stitch (M1) then being transferred and engaged on a corresponding needle (7Y) of the second needle arc.

  • Patent number: 4048817
Abstract: A knitting machine has a lowering cam which acts on the butts of the needles to lower the needles in an active stroke. A stop cam associated with the lowering cam acts on the butts to decelerate the needles at the end of the stroke. The relative positions of the lowering cam and the stop cam can be adjusted in two mutually transverse directions to ensure smooth engagement of the butts with the stop cam.
