  • Publication number: 20220164423
Abstract: Computer recognition is performed to recognise whether a user interacting with a user device in an identified interval of time is the same user as a user that has interacted with the device at other times. First user behaviour data is derived by processing first data representative of a user interacting with the user device, generated by a plurality of different elements of the user device including a sensor. At least a first interval of time is identified relating to an interaction of a user with the user device. Second user behaviour data is derived by processing second data representative of a user interacting with the user device during at least the first interval of time. User verification data, based on the first user behaviour data and the second user behaviour data, is transmitted from the user device to an interaction verification system.

  • Patent number: 10984613
Abstract: A method for estimating the travel time of a vehicle based on the determination of the state of the vehicle is described, including the recognition of a start-up event as a result of determining a transition from an inactive engine state or vehicle-at-rest state to an active engine state or running vehicle state; the recognition of an end of travel event as a result of the determination of a transition from an active engine state or vehicle running state to an inactive engine state or vehicle-at-rest state; the calculation of the travel time according to the time elapsed between the start of travel and the end of travel, wherein the two transitions are determined if, when running, it is determined that the active engine state or running vehicle state, respectively the inactive engine state or the vehicle-at rest state, is maintained unchanged for a predetermined hysteresis time interval.

  • Patent number: 10489995
Abstract: A collision diagnosis (12) is generated for a traffic event involving a vehicle, by receiving an output from a self-capacitance sensor (6) having a single electrode comprising at least part of the bodywork of the vehicle (3) and comparing the received output with at least one threshold (8) to generate provisional collision detection data (9). The provisional collision detection data (9) is correlated with further data (11) relating to the traffic event to produce correlation data and the collision diagnosis (12) is generated on the basis of the correlation data.
