  • Patent number: 8739433
Abstract: A household appliance (100) comprises a cabinet (105) accommodating a drum for loading items to be dried and a drying air circuit for circulating drying air through the drum for drying the items therein. The drying air circuit comprises air heating elements (415) for heating the drying air fed to the drum, and the cabinet is provided with a worktop (110) defining a surface (130) having a plurality of apertures (135) in fluid communication with an air conveying system (205,225,230) adapted to deliver a flow of air through said apertures. The air conveying system comprises an air duct (230) thermally coupled to the air heating elements in such a way as to cause heat generated by the air heating elements to heat the air to be delivered through the apertures in the drying surface.

  • Publication number: 20130312275
Abstract: A laundry dryer includes a drying air circuit for circulating a drying air flow through laundry to be dried, a drying air moisture condensing unit and a condensate drawer tank (102) which is movable along a sliding path (A) relative to a housing (121). The condenser drawer tank (102) includes a condensate container (115) having a pouring opening (114) for collecting moisture condensed from the drying air flow. A guiding portion (128) is formed on an outer surface (127) of the condensate container (115) and extends parallel to the sliding path (A). The guiding portion (128) is arranged in proximity of a pouring opening (114) for driving at least a structural element (109, 112) of the laundry dryer to slide over the pouring opening (114) when the condensate drawer tank (102) moves along the sliding path (A).

  • Publication number: 20110154676
Abstract: A home laundry drier (1) is provided with a heat-pump assembly (11) having a refrigerant compressing device (15) which is connected to a supporting wall (2b) of the casing (2) via one or more vibration dampers (17) structured for floatingly supporting the refrigerant compressing device (15). At least one of the vibration dampers (17) includes an elastically-deformable hollow body (18), and a central retaining rod (20) which extends through the elastically-deformable hollow body (18). The central retaining rod (20) is axially displaceable between a locking position in which a head portion (20b) of the rod (20) compresses the elastically-deformable hollow body (18) so as to rigidly connect the compressor (15) to the supporting wall (2b) of the casing (2) and a unlocking position in which the elastically-deformable hollow body (18) floatingly supports the refrigerant compressing device (15).
