Abstract: The application discloses a pressure equalizing device (100, 400) for a battery box (202). The pressure equalizing device comprises: a cage (102, 402) for attachment to a valve opening (210) in the battery box, the cage defining a fluid passage (104, 404) for movement of gas between an inside of the battery box and an outside of the battery box; a valve element (106, 406) covering the fluid passage, and a spring (108) arranged to urge the valve element against the cage so as to close the fluid passage and such that the valve element is moveable to an open configuration when an internal pressure inside the battery box exceeds a threshold pressure. The valve element comprises a breathing opening (138, 438) and a breathable membrane (112, 412) covering the breathing opening. A test method and apparatus is also presented.

Abstract: A fastener includes a head and snap-engaging portion that includes: —a shank projecting from the head and having a proximal end connected to the head and a distal end spaced from the head, and—two elastic arms in the form of a V, with respective first ends connected to the distal end and respective second ends arranged in the proximity of the head and spaced in the transverse direction on opposite sides of the shank, so as to form an arrow head shape, wherein the snap-engaging portion includes a substantially U-shaped retaining structure having two open ends connected integrally to the respective second ends of the elastic arms and a rounded portion which surrounds without contact the distal end of the shank, wherein the retaining structure has two snap-engaging seats which are open outwards, each being situated between the rounded portion and a respective open end.

Abstract: A water draining plug which can be inserted in a hole in a horizontal wall, comprising a peg-like element having a head, whose dimensions are greater than the diameter of said hole and which is provided with a plurality of apertures for the passage of water, a shank extending downward from said head, and a helical formation extending radially from a portion of said shank; and a cup-like cover having a lower wall connected to a lower end of said shank, a discharge aperture in said lower wall, a side wall in contact with outer edges of said helical formation and an upper edge which can contact the lower surface of said wall around said hole.
