    Abstract: Variable-inclination headrest for a bed and the like is provided with a support element hinged on transverse elements integral with fixed uprights enabling the inclination of the headrest to be adjusted in accordance with individual needs while simultaneously displacing the backrest in a vertical plane with a rod transversely arranged between the uprights and designed to engage with one end of the support element so as to lock it in an erect position at a distance from the surface of a mattress or seat.
