  • Patent number: 9937886
Abstract: A receiver configuration for a control unit in a vehicle having a voltage generator for generating a synchronization pulse, which includes a first voltage source, a current source and a current sink, the voltage generator generating the synchronization pulse within predefined specification limits having a predefined shape and a predefined time behavior, and the receiver configuration outputting the synchronization pulse for synchronizing a signal transmission via a databus to at least one sensor. A method is also provided for generating a synchronization pulse. The voltage generator generates the synchronization pulse via the current source and the current sink by charging and/or discharging a bus load essentially as a sinusoidal oscillation.

  • Patent number: 9915691
Abstract: A method for ascertaining a load capacitance of a data bus includes reading in and a determining task. In the reading in, a scaling factor of a synchronization pulse of the data bus is read in. In the determining, the load capacitance is determined using the scaling factor and a processing rule.

  • Patent number: 9749715
Abstract: A circuit system includes: a receiver circuit which outputs a periodic voltage pulse via a bus line; and an ascertaining device configured to ascertain whether the voltage on the bus line has reached a specified threshold value. The circuit system is configured to start the reception of data signals a specified time period after an instant at which the voltage on the bus line has reached the specified threshold value.

  • Patent number: 9619425
Abstract: An electronic control unit includes a bus connection for a connection to a bus line of a current-controlled bus, an evaluation device for sampling the current flowing through the bus connection in order to detect a digital message from a sensor which is connectable to the bus line, and a current controller for generating a predefined current pulse through the bus connection in order to induce the sensor to assume a predefined synchronization state. The current controller is set up to control the current through the bus connection in such a way that it corresponds to an operating current through the sensor.

  • Patent number: 9515639
Abstract: A method for generating a pulse, wherein a predetermined first limit curve and a predetermined second limit curve are defined for a pulse shape of the pulse, wherein the limit curves describe the change over time of a current variable, and wherein the second limit curve runs entirely within the first limit curve. As a pulse shape for the pulse, a curve plotted between the limit curves is generated, which, in comparison with a rectangular pulse plotted between the limit curves, in a first area of the current variable facing away from an extremum, is deformed toward the first limit curve and which, in a second area of the current variable facing toward the extremum, is deformed toward the second limit curve.
