  • Patent number: 4826758
Abstract: A light-sensitive silver halide photographic emulsion wherein the silver halide crystals thereof are formed by:preparing a dispersion containing homogeneously dispersed silver halide particles, the particles containing silver iodide and having an average grain size of 0.5 .mu.m or less, adding an aqueous solution containing at least one halide other than iodide, and an aqueous solution containing a silver salt, to the dispersion, thereby effecting growth, andadding an aqueous solution containing iodide during the course of the crystal growth, independent of the addition of the solution containing the halide other than iodide.

  • Patent number: 4689292
Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having high sensitivity and high covering power, particularly suitable for use in radiography comprising on a support, a silver halide emulsion layer having silver halide grains which have a grain-size distribution curve comprising at least two peaks of which in the mode form, the highest peak mode and another peak mode adjacent thereto stand leaving a space of 0.10.mu. to 0.30.mu. therebetween. An orthochromatic dye-sensitizer increases the sensitivity.

  • Patent number: 4659654
Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive emulsion contains silver halide particles, chemically sensitized, the average concentration of the silver iodide of which is from 0.5 to 10 mole % and which have inside part wherein not less than 20 mole percent silver iodide is present locally; and at least one cyanine dyes having the Formulas [I], [II] and [III] as herein described.

  • Patent number: H899
Abstract: Disclosed is a light-sensitive silver halide photographic element which comprises photographic layers applied under the condition that the surface tension of a coating solution for forming an outermost layer is 6 dyn/cm or more smaller than the surface tension of a solution for forming a layer adjacent to the outermost layer, and satisfying at least one of the conditions shown below:(a) gelatin contained in at least the side of a support having a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a hydrophilic colloid layer is in an amount of 2.20 to 3.10 g/m.sup.2,(b) the photographic layers are formed by the constitution such that said coating solution for forming the outermost layer and said solution for forming the layer adjacent thereto each have a viscosity of 20 cp or less.
