    Abstract: A screw-type jack including an auxiliary screw barrel which is engaged with a ram cap at the uppermost stage. With that construction, this screw-type jack also has such function as to overlay an upper portion of a casing by the auxiliary screw barrel when the jack is contracted, in addition to widening the lift of the jack, whereby the case can be free from dirt and protected from damage.
