  • Publication number: 20230378561
Abstract: Battery module and method for cooling the battery module are provided. The battery module comprises a housing and a plurality of battery cells positioned inside the housing, an inlet for feeding the cooling fluid into the housing and an outlet for feeding the cooling fluid away from the housing, a first cell holder and a second cell holder for holding battery cells, each cell holder positioned inside the housing, the first cell holder and the second cell holder spaced apart and each cell holder connected to the housing. The module further comprises a first cooling channel partially bounded by a housing cover and the first cell holder, a second cooling channel partially bounded by a housing base and the second cell holder, a middle cooling channel partially bounded by the first cell holder and the second cell holder.

  • Publication number: 20140329114
Abstract: A battery management system to maintain cell temperature in automobile starter batteries, containing lithium-ion; lithium-iron-phosphate battery cells mutually connected in series and parallel. Cell temperature management and measurement, and voltage measurement of each individual battery cell and for cell heating management units have a temperature sensor mounted directly on one of the cells. A predefined upper temperature value t2 and a lower temperature value t1 are used to determine whether to activate or deactivate heating of the battery cells. The working temperature of the battery cells is maintained by a heater in the form of foil pasted over the cells, or, in case of flat cells, by a heater in the form of flat foil placed in between the cells or by a shared heater of any form inside the casing.

  • Publication number: 20100046104
Abstract: The rear-view mirror system for an automobile to eliminate driver blind spots comprises electrically controlled external side rear-view mirrors and an electrically controlled interior center rear-view mirror, and a control unit which rotates the external rear-view mirrors and moves and turns the interior center rear view mirror to provide a view of the blind spot. The system is activated either by the driver by a button press, or automatically upon initiation of a turn signal or upon turning of the steering wheel, and then automatically released to return the mirrors to their normal position after a predetermined length of time or upon completion of a turn.
