  • Patent number: 10474719
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage medium, for facilitating auto-completion of search queries in a group based document sharing environment. In one aspect, a method includes actions of maintaining a prefix index that includes prefix index entries. Each prefix index entry may include a prefix, a group identifier, and a portion of a document. Additional actions may include receiving input from a user that is associated with a search field, determining a user identifier associated with the user that submitted the received input, mapping the user identifier to a particular group identifier, obtaining one or multiple candidate query suggestions based on the received input and the prefix index, and selecting a subset of the candidate query suggestions based on the particular group identifier. Other actions may include providing the subset of candidate query suggestions to the user.

  • Patent number: 9843901
Abstract: A technique for identifying at least one mobile terminal travelling in a vehicle is disclosed, wherein the vehicle comprises a connected device. In a method aspect, the method comprises initializing a list of identifiers, IDs, of at least one candidate mobile terminal currently travelling in the vehicle, obtaining a current first position of the connected device and a current second position of the at least one candidate mobile terminal, comparing the current first position and the current second position so as to determine whether the current first and second positions match, and iteratively refining the list of IDs depending on the match of the current first and second positions by repeating the steps of obtaining and comparing until a predetermined condition is met.

  • Patent number: 9454621
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for determining navigational search results based on one or more signals are presented. A partial search query of a user may be received. A superset of candidate navigational search results may be determined based on the partial query. A subset of navigational search results may be selected from the superset based at least in part on one or more signals. The subset of navigational search results may then be provided for presentation to the user independently from presentation to the user of other search results that are responsive to the partial query.

  • Publication number: 20150106358
Abstract: Systems and methods for conveying search results at a computing device are provided. The systems and methods provide a user interface for an email application. The user interface comprises a search field. User entry of a portion of a search term, comprising at least one character, is detected in the search field. In response, a recommended search completion term is also displayed in the search field. The recommended search completion term comprises the portion of a search term. A plurality of search results is then displayed in a graphical overlay panel that is overlaid on a portion of the user interface. These search results are from a plurality of sources independently selected from the group consisting of: contact information, email messages, documents, calendar entries, email labels, recent searches and web searches.
