  • Patent number: 12690881
Abstract: A medical instrument has a first part connected to a second part with a connecting element. The first and second parts are pivotable relative to one another about a pivot axis defined by a longitudinal axis of the connecting element. The first part has a first bearing area, and the second part has a second bearing area. The first bearing area and second bearing area face each other. In a mounted state, a biasing element is arranged between the first and second bearing areas. The biasing element, in the mounted state, is held in a compressed state between the first and second bearing areas by the connecting element so as to exert a biasing force on the first and second bearing areas to keep them biased away from one another.
