Abstract: A method and a system for hosting a market data distribution platform that is widely used by many financial organizations, such as Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform (TREP), in a public cloud computing environment is provided. The method includes facilitating a communication between the market data distribution platform and at least one server that operates in the public cloud; monitoring an amount of data being distributed on the platform and a number of clients that are accessing the platform; determining a minimum number of cloud servers required for servicing the clients; accessing at least the determined minimum number of servers; and facilitating communications between the servers and the platform. The number of servers and/or load amounts being handled by each server may be adjusted based on varying amounts of data and/or varying numbers of clients.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention is directed to a full re-write of an entire data stack in a cloud-native manner. With an embodiment of the present invention, a reference data store that may be merged with a subsystem that normalizes inbound streaming data sets from in-cloud sources to feed a Global Elastic Grid Bus. The Global Elastic Grid Bus may be responsible for caching and distributing the information globally, as well as maintaining a single namespace accessible to some or all customers.

Abstract: Systems and methods for aggregating, filtering, and presenting streaming data are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method for presenting streaming data may include (1) receiving, at web services layer for a server comprising at least one computer processor, a query from a client, wherein the query comprises a plurality of parameters; (2) a data caching layer for the server receiving streaming data from at least one predefined streaming data source; (3) the data caching layer conflating the streaming data for each of the plurality of parameters; (4) the data caching layer aggregating the conflated data; (5) the data caching layer generating a snapshot of the conflated data by simultaneously running the query against the conflated data; and (6) outputting the snapshot to the client.
