Publication number: 20250106738Abstract: The present technology relates to a mobile network blacklist for satellite networks. Information indicative of a satellite network can be stored within a mobile network blacklist to prevent the transmission of a wireless access request to the satellite network. When it is determined that no approved network is available to provide a wireless communication service, the information indicative of the satellite network can be removed from the mobile network blacklist to enable the transmission of a wireless access request for the satellite network to provide the wireless communication service. In doing so, the satellite network can provide the wireless communication service when other approved networks are not available to provide the wireless communication service.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 21, 2023Publication date: March 27, 2025Inventors: Kyeong Hun An, Ran Chen, Mathew George, Kulandaivel Marappa Gounder, Nilesh Ranjan
