  • Publication number: 20240139456
Abstract: FIGS. 1-16D & 66A-92D disclose a large variety of methods of forming the headgear for use in combination with a breathing apparatus including a unitary plastic core within textile casings. In some configurations, the plastic core material penetrates or bursts-through the textile casing of the straps. Some configurations include over moulding, alignment posts, T-joints and joint housings with injection aperture. FIGS. 17-65 & 93A-94C disclose a large variety of different headgear arrangements including top strap, front strap, rear strap and pairs of straps extending from the mask above and below the ear to meet behind the ear. FIGS. 95-121B disclose a large variety of connectors connecting the headgear assembly to the mask assembly where the headgear, mask and connector form a closed loop when the connector is disengaged with the mask assembly.

  • Patent number: 11819419
Abstract: An implant may include a body having a leading edge portion, a trailing edge portion, and an intermediate portion. The leading edge portion may include a substantially smooth surface forming a substantial majority of a leading edge surface and the trailing edge portion may include a monolithic structure including at least one receptacle configured to receive an insertion tool. The intermediate portion may include a plurality of elongate curved structural members continuously formed with at least one of the leading edge portion and the trailing edge portion. In addition, the elongate curved structural members may be configured such that the intermediate portion remains substantially rigid under compressive forces during insertion of the implant between bone surfaces of a patient. Also, the elongate curved structural members may include an elongate curved structural member extending longitudinally from the leading edge portion to the trailing edge portion and having a substantially sinusoidal configuration.

  • Publication number: 20210307909
Abstract: An implant includes a body including a substrate and a bone interfacing lattice disposed on the substrate. The bone interfacing lattice includes at least two layers of elongate curved structural members. In addition, the at least two layers of elongate curved structural members include a first layer adjacent the substrate and a second layer adjacent the first layer. Also, the first layer has a first deformability and the second layer has a second deformability, wherein the second deformability is greater than the first deformability. Further, one or more of the elongate curved structural members may have a spiraling geometry.

  • Publication number: 20100038611
Abstract: A wire termination device (24) of the type having a body (25) with a first through-bore (26) into which protrudes wedging means (27) urged by spring means (28) and having a second through-bore (33) without wedging means, is characterised in that the second through-bore (33) is interrupted by a transverse notch (34), and each body portion (35A, 35B) separated by the notch (34) has a longitudinal entry slot into the second through-bore (33) with the slot (36A) in one portion (35A) at the opposite side of the body (25) to the slot (36B) in the other portion (35B), whereby the device (24) can be affixed for a horizontal wire (37) of a stock-fence by presenting the notch (34) to the wire (37) and then turning the device (24) so as to enable the wire (37) to pass through both slots (36A, 36B), whereafter a free end (38) of the wire (37) can be inserted into the first through-bore (26) after passing round an end post (39) to be secured in the device (24) by the wedging means (27).
