  • Patent number: 12566788
Abstract: Conversation graphing capabilities accommodate subsets of conversations to be examined or reviewed. An “others” node is included in a conversation graph displayed through a user interface representing, in one implementation, all conversations not shown on the graph. Individual nodes and/or edges can be selected regardless of whether they are adjacent or connected. Information related to the communications associated with the selected nodes and/or edges is displayed. Nodes associated with communications falling within a selected time range is included and emphasized in the conversation graph. Directionality (i.e., direction of majority of communications) and/or proportionality (i.e., fraction of communications flowing in one direction along an edge verses the opposite direction) is provided through a visual indication for individual edges in the conversation graph.

  • Patent number: 12440779
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for real-time dynamic optimization of crude distillation unit (CDU). The present invention makes use of a combination of CDU and plant data such as crude density, flow, temperature profile and pressure profile of column, other operating conditions, and column heat balance to calculate product yields and product properties. The present invention makes use of real-time CDU or plant measurements, and its non-linear time-dependent functions to represent change in feedstock (product) characteristics, and predict the optimal value of CDU input data to optimize the CDU, and product yields and product properties. This provides a robust optimized solution that significantly reduces the computational time, accounts for dynamic change in crude composition and the unsteady nature of the operation during crude transitions.

  • Patent number: 12182425
Abstract: This document describes techniques for storing virtual disk payload data. In an exemplary configuration, each virtual disk extent can be associated with state information that indicates whether the virtual disk extent is described by a virtual disk file. Under certain conditions the space used to describe a virtual disk extent can be reclaimed and state information can be used to determine how read and/or write operations directed to the virtual disk extent are handled. In addition to the foregoing, other techniques are described in the claims, figures, and detailed description of this document.

  • Patent number: 10296413
Abstract: Techniques for a recovery environment for a virtual machine are described herein. Generally, a recovery environment provides a secure environment in which a damaged virtual machine can undergo repair procedures without compromising the security of the damaged virtual machine. In at least some implementations, a recovery environment represents an instance of a virtual machine that is executed to wrap a damaged virtual machine to enable the damaged virtual machine to be repaired.

  • Patent number: 10239053
Abstract: A method for modification of pretreated acidic porous material via selective cation exchange using suitable solvent to obtain higher noble metal dispersion is described herein. The solvent system required for cation exchange should have its dielectric constant in the range of 25-45, wherein this solvent property is found to impart significant effect on cation loading and distribution, which in turn defines the stability, dispersion of the noble metals. The catalyst so obtained has higher noble metal dispersion and when used for hydroisomerization reaction, leads to higher selectivity even at significantly high conversion values.

  • Publication number: 20180341768
Abstract: Techniques for tenant management of virtualized computing resources are described. Virtualized computing resources are allocated to a tenant who is allowed to request access to the allocated virtualized computing resources. A request is received for launch of a virtual machine instance based on the allocated virtualized computing resources. In response to the request, a secure enclave is instantiated and information is obtained that is indicative of the host computing environment and the secure enclave. The information is sent to the tenant, and an indication is received from the tenant to launch the virtual machine based on an independent attestation by the tenant based on the sent information. The virtual machine is launched in response to the indication.

  • Publication number: 20170060619
Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment, a virtual disk file can be assigned an identifier and a virtual disk files that is dependent on the virtual disk file can include a copy of the identifier. In the instance that the virtual disk file is opened and data is modified that causes the contents of a virtual disk extent to change the identifier can be changed. If the virtual disk file and the dependent virtual disk file are used to instantiate a virtual disk the difference between identifiers can be detected, which is indicative of the fact that the virtual disk may be corrupted. Other techniques are described in the detailed description, claims, and figures that form a part of this document.

  • Publication number: 20160339411
Abstract: The present invention discloses activated carbon-metal organic framework composite materials (AC@MOF) with enhanced gas adsorption capacity. The present invention also discloses a process for the preparation of carbon-metal organic framework composite materials (AC@MOF). The present invention involves the use of “void space filling method” in metal organic frameworks (MOFs), which have been accomplished by in-situ addition of selected type and appropriate amount of activated carbon during the synthesis of MOF such as Cu-BTC, in the storage of gases such as methane. The gas adsorption capacity of these AC@MOF composite materials is significantly increased through this method.

  • Patent number: 9438662
Abstract: A secure remote assistance session between computers that are behind firewalls and/or NAT devices is provided by an arrangement that uses a terminal services (“TS”) gateway to enable utilization of a remote desktop protocol (“RDP”) connection by a terminal services client in a reverse direction to that used in a conventional terminal services session. The connection is made via a regular TS gateway protocol mechanism by which the TS client behind a firewall establishes a connection to the remote server that is typically behind a firewall that protects a corporate network. The server then functions as the terminal services client to tunnel RDP data through the established TS gateway connection through the NAT firewall to a client. Thus, the server and client reverse roles after the TS gateway connection is made to thereby enable remote viewing of the graphical user interface that is displayed by the client in support of the remote assistance session.
