  • Publication number: 20260015743
Abstract: An electrosynthetic cell and its use are disclosed. The electrosynthetic cell can be used in a reductive electrosynthesis of one or more desired chemical products from one or more chemical reactants. The electrosynthetic cell comprises a hydrogen anode half-cell and a cathode half-cell. The hydrogen anode half-cell comprises hydrogen (H2), a first liquid phase solution that is in contact with an anode and a heterogeneous redox catalyst capable of catalyzing the oxidation of H2 to H+, and a redox mediator capable of transferring or accepting electrons and/or protons while undergoing reduction or oxidation. The cathode half-cell comprises a second liquid phase solution comprising the one or more chemical reactants that is in contact with a cathode and a reductive synthesis catalyst capable of catalyzing the reductive synthesis of the one or more desired chemical products from the one or more chemical reactants.

  • Publication number: 20220172728
Abstract: A system for monitoring intra-team communications to automatically create team performance metrics. In a preferred embodiment, the verbal communications between team members are monitored. The communications are monitored to preferably assign attributes to each individual instance, such as the speaker identity, the recipient identity, the nature of the speech (such as a command or a query), the polarity of the speech (positive or negative), and the relevance of the speech.

  • Publication number: 20210293171
Abstract: An exhaust mixer apparatus, emissions cleaning module, and a method of manufacturing the exhaust mixer apparatus is provided. The exhaust mixer apparatus comprises an exhaust conduit, a first exhaust mixer and a second exhaust mixer. The exhaust conduit is configured to extend in an elongate direction comprising an inlet and an outlet for transporting exhaust fluid. The first exhaust mixer comprises a plurality of elongate mixing blades each having a length extending in the elongate direction. The elongate mixing blades are connected together along at least part of their lengths and arranged about the elongate direction, each elongate mixing blade comprising an outer edge extending in the elongate direction. The elongate mixing blades are twisted along their lengths such that the outer edge of each elongate mixing blade is rotated about the elongate direction. The exhaust conduit is configured to locate the first exhaust mixer in an upstream location of the exhaust conduit.

  • Patent number: 7699606
Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating a orthodontic template that assists in the placement of an orthodontic apparatus includes processing that begins by obtaining a digital model of an orthodontic structure of an orthodontic patient. The processing continues by obtaining a selection of one of a plurality of orthodontic apparatuses for the orthodontic structure to produce a selected orthodontic apparatus. The processing then continues by obtaining a digital model of placement of the selected orthodontic apparatus on the digital model of the orthodontic structure. The processing then continues by retrieving a digital image of a tooth mounting apparatus (e.g., a bracket, a band, a headgear tube, etc.) of the selected apparatus for a given tooth.

  • Publication number: 20070205835
Abstract: Systems and methods for tuning a phase locked loop (PLL) having a segmented voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) to an input frequency are provided. The PLL is reset and its VCO is coarse tuned until the input frequency is within a first predetermined threshold of the VCO center frequency. The input frequency is then compared to a clock reference signal to determine whether the input frequency has stabilized. After the input frequency has stabilized, the input frequency is continuously monitored by comparing it to the clock reference signal to determine whether the input frequency is varying, and if the input frequency is varying by more than a second predetermined threshold, then the PLL is reset.

  • Publication number: 20070201545
Abstract: Systems and method for controlling the gain of an equalizer are provided. In these systems and methods, bit errors in a serial data stream received by an equalizer are detected, and the gain of the equalizer is set in response to the detected bit errors in the serial data stream.
