    Abstract: A system and method for converting light hydrocarbons into heavier hydrocarbons, such as with a Fischer-Tropsch process, are provided that use a gas turbine and that uses at least two different sources of compressed oxygen-containing gas for the preparation of synthesis gas. The system and method may also include a steam turbine powered by process steam, along with the gas turbine, to provide additional power to produce the compressed oxygen containing gas.
