  • Publication number: 20210258503
Abstract: A method includes receiving video data from at least one camera device on a remote video management system (VMS) that is communicatively coupled to the at least one camera device. A first video stream corresponding to a panoramic view of imagery associated with the video data, and a second video stream corresponding to an immersive view of select portions of the first video stream, are generated. The first video stream is presented in a first respective viewing area of a remote display device that is communicatively coupled to the remote VMS, and the second video stream is presented in a second respective viewing area of the remote display device. A viewing area of the immersive view is controlled, and an overlay is provided on the presented first video stream to indicate the viewing area of the immersive view on the panoramic view.

  • Publication number: 20200280761
Abstract: A system and method is provided to measure latency on a video management system having a computer system and a camera. The computer system initiates a presentation of a video stream comprising a plurality of video frames on a display device. Each video frame of the video stream includes a changing image which represents frame information for tracking the video frame. The computer system receives a live video stream representative of the presented video stream from the camera, which is directed at an output of the display device to capture in real-time the presented video stream. The image of one or more video frames of the received stream is processed to identify the frame information from the one or more video frames. The end-to-end latency of the video stream is determined based on at least identified frame information of the one or more video frames of the received stream.

  • Publication number: 20070217400
Abstract: Systems and methods for distributing audio locally over Internet Protocol (IP) are disclosed. The system may comprise a first host machine having a process hub (PHub) for handling local communications with a plurality of process spokes (PSpokes) on the first host machine, and a second host machine having a process hub (PHub) for handling local communications with a plurality of process spokes (PSpokes) on the first host machine. A local area network connects the first and second host machines via the respective PHubs. An audio channel is established on the local area network for communicating audio using Internet Protocol between devices controlled by the PSpokes on the first and second host machines.

  • Publication number: 20060052884
Abstract: Implementations described and claimed herein provide a computer program product encoding computer programs for executing a drag-and-drop computer process of generating a custom user interface for a building automation system. The drag-and-drop computer process comprises selecting an automation device in the building automation system and at least one function for the automation device. The drag-and-drop computer process comprises moving an icon representing the automation device onto a custom user interface, and moving a graphic for the at least one function onto the custom user interface. The drag-and-drop computer process comprises generating program code to link the graphic to the at least one function for the automation device.
