  • Patent number: 10618449
Abstract: A lift for a travel trailer top is disclosed which includes new and novel corner posts or jacks each of which comprises a plurality of telescoping members designed for strength and rigidity with the upper two or three sections of the posts or jacks containing integral, marginal portions for containing push-pull rods or springs and the bottom or lower section designed basically rectangular with a fastening leg and to contain the push-pull rods or springs and receive and stabilize the upper two or three sections when the top is up or down and may further be turned over, top to bottom, to be used as the bottom or lower section of the posts or jacks on the opposite side of the trailer eliminating the need to create lefts or rights of the bottom or lower sections.

  • Publication number: 20110079141
Abstract: A hydraulic cylinder with piston and rod enclosed, that upon receiving air and oil, singularly or along with one or more identical cylinders, from a new, dry, system start up, will, upon extension, when the piston seal passes a predetermined point, stop. With continued pumping from either a manual single or multiple cylinder pump or an electric pump all the identical piston rods will arrive at the predetermined stop and the cylinders will be purged of air and when the manual locks are placed over the extended piston rods, they will stay there and not move up or down, regardless of ambient temperature changes or inadvertent release of the oil. After they are extended the first time all the cylinders will stop at the predetermined point in an even position with each other. The locks and pumps are not shown in this application.

  • Patent number: 7758103
Abstract: A hydraulic lift for mobile living quarters having a liftable top. A fluid pressure source communicates fluid through fluid lines connected to a plurality of lifting members that extend upon receipt of fluid and retract upon discharging fluid. The rate at which fluid is discharged from the lifting members is a function of how much weight each lifting member bears. Each of the fluid lines has a flow control valve between the pressure source and each lifting member. Fluid is communicated through the flow control valve to the lifting member connected to the pressure source the fluid is also communicated through the flow control valve when fluid is discharged from the lifting member. The flow control valve limits the flow rate of the fluid to a constant predetermined rate when the fluid is discharged from the lifting member.
