  • Patent number: 11021837
Abstract: A tumble dryer has a drum for laundry, a drive motor for the drum, an air supply to the drum and an air discharge from the drum, a fan, including a fan drive, for generating an air stream to the drum through the air supply and away from the drum through the air discharge, and also heating means for heating the air stream. The temperature of and the moisture in the air which is discharged from the drum are detected. The profile of said temperature and moisture is compared with prespecification curves, which are stored in a memory, for the profile of said temperature and moisture by means of calculation means depending on the drying phase of the laundry. The operating point of the prespecification curve at which the drying program is located is determined in this way. The control arrangement influences the further drying program, on the basis of the operating point, by way of adjusting the temperature and/or the intensity of the air stream.

  • Publication number: 20210029783
Abstract: A radiant heating device for a hob has a sheet-like carrier with a carrier surface on its top side on which an electrical heating element runs in a meandering manner within an outer edge. A single temperature sensor is arranged in a temperature sensor housing which is arranged above a region which is free of heating elements. The temperature sensor housing covers the temperature sensor at the top and to the side and encloses the said temperature sensor in all directions. The temperature sensor housing is designed so as to be electrically insulating and thermally insulating at least at the top and to the side, wherein the said temperature sensor housing consists of an inner electrically insulating insulation housing part with the temperature sensor therein and an outer surrounding thermally insulating insulation housing part.

  • Patent number: 6904378
Abstract: A method for measuring the temperature of a cooking vessel or saucepan using a radiant heater. The radiant heater has a heating coil with a corresponding control and an induction coil as an inductive sensor and which is located in a metal tray. With the inductive sensor, measurement takes place of the frequency of the inductive resonant circuit comprising saucepan, heating coil, induction coil and metal tray, which is dependent on the temperature of the components. In the control is stored known slopes or paths of the temperature and therefore the frequency of the metal tray over the time. From this the control gathers correction values in order to produce from the measured curve a compensated curve. At characteristic points, such as the start of a cooking or boiling process or an empty cooking or boiling of the saucepan, it is possible to detect the temperatures.
