  • Patent number: 10190590
Abstract: A blower filter system includes a blower unit (11), an electric motor (24) for driving a blower impeller, a control unit (27) for controlling the electric motor, contacts (22, 23) for connecting to a battery pack, and a battery pack (10) with secondary cells (12) with high energy density and contacts (22, 23) for connecting to the blower unit. The blower unit (11) can be detachably coupled to the battery pack (10). The battery pack is electrically connected to the blower unit via the contacts. The battery pack (10) has protective circuits including electronic components (15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 31) to electrically switch off at least one of the plurality of secondary cells (12) of the battery pack if excessive currents and/or excessive temperatures occur. The battery pack (10) and the blower unit (11) are each at least partially cast in a casting compound.

  • Publication number: 20170001048
Abstract: A blower filter device includes a blower unit that draws and delivers ambient air; a filter unit that filters a harmful substance, or a filter coupling to couple and uncouple the filter unit. A control unit is configured to actuate the blower unit, to determine an operating state of the blower filter device and/or other respirator system components and/or a respirator system (100) as a whole and to generate an alarm if a determined operating state indicates a disturbance. An output unit is configured to receive the alarm from the control unit and to output the alarm. A communication interface (228) is configured for wireless network integration and to transmit the alarm via the network (238). A respirator system (100) with such a blower filter device, an operational infrastructure (300) with such a respirator system, as well as a method of blower filter operation and operational infrastructure monitoring are provided.

  • Publication number: 20150360060
Abstract: A support system (1) for a fan filter device (20) of a fan filter system (30) has a base strap (2) for arranging the support system on the body (40) of a user and has a securing system (3) on the base strap for securing the fan filter device in a first position (4) and in at least one different second position (5) on the base strap. The securing system has a guide element (6), secured to the base strap, to retain the fan filter device in the different positions (4, 5). The securing system has a counter-guide element (10), movably guided on the guide element via at least one guide gap (11), that has at least one securing element (12) for securing the counter-guide element on the fan filter device. A fan filter device for a fan filter system and a fan filter system are also provided.

  • Patent number: 8033105
Abstract: An internal combustion engine includes an exhaust-gas system with n>1 exhaust-gas flow configurations, wherein n is an integer. The exhaust-gas flow configurations are at least partly separated from one another and each of the exhaust-gas flow configurations includes at least one catalytic converter. The internal combustion engine includes a secondary air supply system with at least one secondary air pump and at least one secondary air valve. The at least one secondary air pump is connected, via the at least one secondary air valve, to at most n?1 of the exhaust-gas flow configurations upstream of the at least one catalytic converter of the at most n?1 of the exhaust-gas flow configurations. The remaining ones of the exhaust-gas flow configurations are separated from the secondary air supply system.
