  • Publication number: 20230381703
Abstract: A filter has a filter housing with a housing cover coupled to a housing part to close a receiving space receiving filter elements each provided with a filter medium body and a frame device around the filter medium body. The filter housing has a radially inwardly projecting, circumferential contact shoulder in the receiving space. The housing cover, when mounted, exerts an axial clamping force on the frame device of a first filter element. An axial end of the first filter element facing away from the housing cover rests on the frame device of a second filter element. The clamping force is transmitted through frame device of first filter element to frame device of second filter element. The frame device of the second filter element has a circumferential seal with a hollow chamber profile pressed by the clamping force on the contact shoulder to seal-tightly contact the contact shoulder.

  • Patent number: 11787269
Abstract: A smart multi-modal vehicular air filtration management system including a first filter element and a second filter element disposed in a fresh air housing, wherein the fresh air housing has an inlet and an outlet. Additionally, a third filter element is provided which is disposed in a cabin housing, the cabin housing having one or more inlet. A fluid channel arranged between the fresh air and cabin housing. Finally, a diverter is included which is disposed near an outlet of the fresh air housing, wherein the diverter is configured to cause air to flow through the fresh air housing selectively through one or both of the first filter element and the second filter element.

  • Patent number: 11752463
Abstract: An adsorber element for a filter system is provided with a frame that has a base plate and one or more rigid support elements that project away from the base plate. An adsorber medium is disposed at the frame and arranged at least in sections of the base plate and at least in sections of the one or more rigid support elements. The filter system has a housing with an inlet and an outlet. The filter system is flowed through by a gaseous fluid from the inlet to the outlet. A filter element is arranged in the housing between inlet and outlet. The adsorber element is arranged in the housing preferably downstream of the filter element.
