    Abstract: The present invention is related to tagging broadcast media, in particular for use in mobile terminals. Metadata related to broadcast video and audio data is transmitted simultaneously within the broadcast packet stream in short intervals in order to allow an exact recognition and immediate recording of single short media objects. These objects may then be sorted based on machine readable category information and used to provide a user specific program.
