Publication number: 20240002200Abstract: The invention relates to a winding, particularly a winch, arrangement (100) comprising a two speed manually operable winding member (10) and a drive unit (20) comprising a motor (21). The drive unit (20) comprises a transmission arrangement connected to a motor shaft (25), an outgoing shaft (22) with an outer gear wheel (23). The transmission arrangement is adapted to allow the outgoing shaft gear wheel (23) rotate in the same direction but at different speeds depending on rotational direction of the motor (21). The manual winch (10) is adapted for reception of the outgoing shaft (22) allowing the winch drum (1) to be motor (21) driven. The drive unit (20) comprises means (67,68) allowing engagement/disengagement of the outgoing shaft gear wheel (23) from the manually operable winding member (10) and the winding arrangement can be used as a two-speed manual or a two speed motor driven winding arrangement.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 3, 2021Publication date: January 4, 2024Inventors: Nils JANHÄLL, Mathias LINDSTRÖM, Björn ADIELS

Patent number: 11067354Abstract: A breech for noise reduction in a recoil-less weapon is described. The breech is adapted to be arranged in fluid communication with a launcher of the weapon to release exhaust gas. The breech comprises a venturi tube. The venturi tube has an inlet at a first end adapted to be connected to the launcher, and an outlet for releasing the exhaust gas at a second end, wherein the area of the outlet is larger than the area of the inlet. The venturi tube further comprises an exhaust gas controlling element formed at the venturi tube structure. The exhaust gas controlling element is arranged to control the release of exhaust gas so as to decrease a sound pressure peak at the weapon. The inner envelope surface of the venturi tube is configured, such that the inner envelope surface does not alter or at least has a very small influence on recoil characteristics of the weapon.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 2017Date of Patent: July 20, 2021Assignee: SAAB ABInventors: Mathias Lindström, Peter Karlsson, Göran Backlund, Ingrid Söderquist

Patent number: 6575108Abstract: An arrangement for a sail for sailing boats to connect the sail to a mast (4) on the sailing boat by means of a number of mast track slides (6) distributed along one edge of the sail, which are so arranged as to be connected by means of rolling devices to a track extending along the mast. The rolling devices are accommodated jointly in a channel-shaped track (9) integrated with the mast (4), with the edges (18,19;21,28;22,29) of which the aforementioned rolling devices are so arranged as to interact. A channel-shaped opening (16) extends along the aforementioned track (9) to permit the track slides (6) to extend out from the aforementioned track (9) with a narrower part for attachment to the sail with a broader part.Type: GrantFiled: September 21, 2001Date of Patent: June 10, 2003Assignee: Sélden Mast ABInventor: Mathias Lindström
