  • Patent number: 7540089
Abstract: An electric shaver includes a housing in which an electric drive for cutting knives of a shearing head is arranged. A shearing head frame is held by a first latching device in a position abutting on the housing and, upon release by the first latching device, is movable relative to the cutting knives into a position spaced apart from the housing against a stop. A second latching device is provided, by the release of which the shearing head frame is separately removable irrespective of the shearing head frame position released by the first latching device.

  • Patent number: 6739054
Abstract: In an electric shaver including at least one electromotor arranged in a housing and a shaver head as well as an adjustably arranged long-hair cutting system or trimmer and an actuating switch (2), the actuating switch is mechanically coupled with the trimmer (5) for movement in the same direction and the trimmer (5) is displaceable from a first, resiliently mounted operating position into a second, further extended position. A part (11) of the trimmer (5) serving as a skin protecting member is entrained in the direction of displacement as far as to a stop (15) over a displacement path that is shorter than that of the trimmer (5).

  • Patent number: 6675480
Abstract: The electric shaver comprises a housing in which an electric drive is arranged for the oscillating movement of cutting knives of a shearing head, wherein the shearing head is provided with at last two cooperating cutting elements driven so as to be relatively displaceable. A shearing head part (6) carrying at least one shearing blade (5) is hinged to be pivotal about at least one axis (8) differing from the direction of the oscillating movement of the cutting knives (11, 12) and extending in the direction of the longer axis of the housing, and is driven to perform a pivotal movement (9) about the axis (8).

  • Patent number: 6301786
Abstract: A dry shaver includes at least one shaving blade which is arranged in a pivotable head frame closed on its sides and which cooperates with cutters oscillating in the longitudinal direction of the shaving blades. The head frame is detachably connected with a base part which includes a cutter driving mechanism. The head frame is designed in two parts, wherein an outer head part carrying the shaving blade(s) is pivotally connected with a part of the head frame that is detachably fixed to the base part, the pivotal connection being about an approximately central pivot axis extending transverse to the oscillation direction of the cutters.
