  • Patent number: 12587301
Abstract: The application relates to a unique optoelectronic module configured to operate simultaneously at high-speed bit rate and low speed bit rate, thanks to a reconfigurable system on a chip, i.e. a programmable unit on a chip. This reconfigurable system embeds the electronic circuitry of the low-speed channel(s), i.e. at least the driver when the link is a transmission channel, or at least the amplifier when the link is a receiver channel.

Date of Patent: March 24, 2026
    Assignee: RADIALL
Inventors: Mathias Pez, Michael Decarlo, William Stadtler

  • Patent number: 10337913
Abstract: An optoelectronic module, intended to provide a conversion of an electrical signal from an electronic board into an optical signal propagated in free space or vice versa, includes the following stack: an electronic board, intended to act as an interface with an electronic application board; an electronic control component suitable for controlling an optoelectronic component, the electronic component being attached directly onto the electronic board and electrically connected to the electronic circuit; an optoelectronic component suitable for transmitting or receiving a light signal via its upper surface, the optoelectronic component being attached directly on the top of the electronic control component and electrically connected to the electronic component; an optical device suitable for transmitting an optical signal; an optical device support, the support being attached, preferably by gluing or brazing, directly onto the electronic board so as to ensure the mechanical alignment between the optical device an

  • Patent number: 7309169
Abstract: The field of the invention is that of fiber-optic communication devices known as transceivers, used in the aeronautical field for ensuring that on-board electronic computers can converse with one another, or in civil telecommunication. The subject of the invention is a single-channel transceiver comprising essentially a transmitting optoelectronic part, a receiving optoelectronic part, and a specific optical configuration for transmitting and receiving optical signals on a single optical port in real time and using the same wavelength. The optical architectures according to the invention include no semireflecting components, thus making it possible to reduce light energy losses at transmission and reception of the optical signals. These transceivers are particularly well suited for the construction of single-fiber full-duplex optical communication networks allowing simultaneous transmission and reception of signals.
