Patent number: 11951041Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a positioning device for positioning an object in a positioning plane. To minimize the position error (contouring error) in a continuous orbital travel in contrast to two linear adjusters (X and Y) arranged at a right angle to each other, the positioning device includes two rotation drives having different diameters and an object receiver for receiving the object. The object receiver is coupled to a first of the two rotation drives, which in turn is coupled to the second of the two rotating drives so that the object receiver is rotatable about the axes of rotation (A2, A3) of both rotation drives that are offset in parallel, and is thereby adjustable in the positioning plane. A light processor having such a positioning device, and a method for laser eye surgery using such a light processor are also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 2019Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: PHYSIK INSTRUMENTE (PI) GMBH & CO. KGInventor: Mathias Rosenkranz

Patent number: 11383273Abstract: The invention comprises a piezo motor with a U-shaped housing lower part and a mounted cover. The piezo actuator is mounted between two clamping jaws. Planar guide tracks are formed in the housing lower part to both sides of the piezo actuator. Bearing elements of circular cross-section are arranged between the clamping jaws and the guide tracks. Thrust pieces are braced between the housing cover and the bearing elements, which thrust pieces press the bearing elements against the clamping jaws. Here, the thrust pieces together with the guide tracks of the housing lower part form V-shaped guides.Type: GrantFiled: February 6, 2018Date of Patent: July 12, 2022Assignee: PHYSIK INSTRUMENTE (PI) GMBH & CO. Patent number: 10985674Abstract: The invention relates to an ultrasonic motor comprising a plate-shaped piezoelectric ultrasonic actuator (2) and a of friction element (5) arranged on a side surface thereof, wherein the connection line (V) through the friction point and the focal point (S) of the ultrasonic actuator defines an operating direction, and a perpendicular plane intersecting the ultrasonic actuator defines an operating plane (W). A holder (6) has two force inlet sections (7) in order to move the holder and thereby the ultrasonic actuator in a direction parallel to the operating direction, and to press same against an element to be driven. The force inlet sections, preferably based on permanent magnets (8, 9) are each arranged in the operating plane and laterally next to and at a distance from the the ultrasonic actuator, and the intersection point (SP) of the connection line (V) with the operating plane (W) either coincides with the focal point (S) or lies between the focal point and the side surface having the friction element.Type: GrantFiled: July 28, 2016Date of Patent: April 20, 2021Assignee: Physik Instrumente (PI) GmbH & Co. Patent number: 9833813Abstract: The invention relates to an ultrasonic motor having a bracket, a plate-shaped ultrasonic actuator arranged in the bracket, said ultrasonic actuator having two opposing main surfaces and at least four side surfaces connecting the main surfaces to one another, and an element to be driven, wherein the ultrasonic actuator is pressed against the element to be driven, and the bracket comprises a first frame that supports the ultrasonic actuator and a second frame in which the first frame is supported and guided by bearing elements, and the bearing elements are pressed elastically against the first frame by the second frame. According to the invention, the first frame is pressed against the main surfaces of the ultrasonic actuator via the bearing elements, thus preventing or reducing movements of the ultrasonic actuator in a direction vertical to the main surfaces.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2012Date of Patent: December 5, 2017Assignee: PHYSIK INSTRUMENTE GMBH & CO.
