  • Patent number: 11987171
Abstract: A method for regulating the light emission from a vehicle light, wherein a road user located in the light emission direction of the vehicle light is detected, and the light emission from the vehicle light is changed, whereupon response data on the response of the road user to the change in the light emission are acquired. Prediction data indicating the response expected from a road user located in the light emission direction of the vehicle light to the changed light emission are determined. The acquired response data are compared with the determined prediction data, if the prediction data deviate from the response data, the adjustment in the light emission from the vehicle light by which a reduction in the deviation is predicted is determined, and the light emission is regulated according to the determined adjustment. Further, the invention relates to a device for carrying out this method.

  • Patent number: 10308165
Abstract: A method and device for controlling a light emission of a rear lamp of a vehicle. The rear lamp includes optical components having emission surfaces having at least three partial emission surfaces. At least a first and a second light function can be produced by the light emission of the emission surfaces. After a switchover process from the first to the second light function, the first partial emission surface, which emits light for the first light function, emits no light, the second partial emission surface, which emits light for the first light function, continues to emit light, and the third partial emission surface, which emits no light for the first light function, emits light.

  • Patent number: 8523415
Abstract: A lamp for a vehicle has a light source (1), a first reflector (2), and at least one light pane (6, 7), which are disposed so that light emitted by the light source (1) is reflected by a reflector face (3) of the first reflector (2) and forms a first lamp face (17) of the lamp. The lamp has at least one second reflector (4), the reflector face (5) thereof being disposed separately from the reflector face (3) of the first reflector (2) and the second reflector being disposed so that light emitted by the light source (1) is reflected by the reflector face (5) of the second reflector (4) and forms a second lamp face (18) of the lamp, wherein the first and the second lamp faces (17, 18) are not coherent.
