Abstract: A film scanner for digitizing a film includes a stabilized radiation source producing light, a film stage on which the film to be digitized is guided, a projection lens, and a photosensitive sensor. Light passing through the film to be digitized is projected by the projection lens onto the photosensitive sensor when the film is on the film stage, and the film is converted to digital image data by the photosensitive sensor. The film scanner also includes a photosensitive reference sensor arranged for determining brightness measurement values and brightness variations of the radiation source.
