  • Publication number: 20070057635
Abstract: This invention relates to a lamp-reflector unit (3) provided with a first (15) and a second filament (17) axially disposed on a lamp axis (1), and a circularly symmetrical reflector (7) with a reflecting part (13). The use of a modified low-voltage H4 automotive halogen lamp leads to a relatively cheap lamp-reflector unit for application in shop and home lighting enabling direct switching from spot-lighting to flood-lighting.

  • Publication number: 20070008720
Abstract: The invention relates to a lamp-reflector unit (3) provided with a first (15) and a second light source (17) axially disposed on a lamp axis (1), and a reflector (7) with a reflecting part (13). A modification of the reflecting part of the reflector to a shape somewhere in between a parabolic shape and a shape of a straight cone achieves that light of a narrow beam, i.e. a beam with a beam angle less than 15°, is obtained from the first light source, while the light beam as obtained from the second light source does not show any “optical hole” in its center.

  • Publication number: 20060250089
Abstract: In the electric lamp (31) according to the invention, at least one seal (37) is comprised having at least two feed-throughs (39), the feed-throughs comprising molybdenum foils (45) having foil planes (47). A mutually stacked position of the foil-planes in the seal leads to a very compact double feed-through construction of the lamp. A relatively small lamp is thus obtained.
