    Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing a floor for a heat exchanger may include supplying a material strand to a tool and at least partially introducing a passage of the floor into the material strand by at least one stamp of the tool. The material strand may be advanced by a predetermined distance in a longitudinal direction. The introducing and advancing may be repeated until a predetermined number of passages has been introduced into the floor.
