A first and a second return device are configured to return the first sweep-hand mobile to a first predetermined angular position relative to the intermediate chronograph mobile, in the absence of angular immobilization of the first sweep-hand mobile by a first brake, and the second sweep-hand mobile to a second predetermined angular position relative to the intermediate chronograph mobile, in the absence of angular immobilization of the second sweep-hand mobile by a second brake. A control system includes a coordination device arranged to maintain the first and second brakes alternately in two opposite configurations, in each of which one of the first and second brakes is in an inactive state and the other is in an active state.
