  • Publication number: 20230137313
Abstract: A method for operating a single-track or multi-track vehicle including a driver-assistance system. In the method, a speed of the vehicle and a distance of the vehicle from a vehicle in front are controlled. The speed is controlled within a system-related speed range of the driver-assistance system using a position of an operating element of the vehicle and is controlled up to an optional target speed that is selectable within the speed range. Before an upper limit of the speed range is exceeded, a warning signal is provided to a driver of the vehicle. The distance is controlled within the speed range in a speed-dependent distance buffer region depending on the position.

  • Patent number: 11453395
Abstract: A method for operating a motor vehicle, in particular a motorcycle, in which a driving maneuver, which includes a lane change and/or a passing maneuver, is carried out in an at least partially automated manner. The acceleration dynamics of the motor vehicle are adjusted as a function of the relative speed of at least one other motor vehicle, for example of a motor vehicle preceding and/or approaching from behind, as the driving maneuver is carried out.

  • Publication number: 20220281426
Abstract: A method for carrying out a distance-regulating or speed-regulating function for a single-track motor vehicle. An activated distance-regulating or speed-regulating function can be deactivated by the driver through actuation of a brake operating element, if the actuation intensity of the brake operating element exceeds a first threshold value. The presence of a collision risk is ascertained by an environmental sensor system. When there is a risk of collision, an emergency braking assistance function is activated through the actuation of the brake operating element by the driver with an actuation intensity exceeding a second threshold value. The second threshold value is lower than the first threshold value. The activated distance-regulating or speed-regulating function is continued independently of the driver after the termination of the emergency braking assistance function, with the settings that were present before the activation of the emergency braking assistance function.

  • Publication number: 20220135033
Abstract: A method for automatically setting a speed-control or proximity-control system of a two-wheeled motor vehicle. In the method, it is ascertained if the two-wheeled motor vehicle is on a group ride with at least one other two-wheeled motor vehicle; and in the event of a group ride, the speed-control or proximity-control system is switched to a special operating mode.

  • Publication number: 20220073071
Abstract: A method for selecting the target object for an automatic distance control of a single-track motor vehicle. The presence of a second single-track motor vehicle preceding directly in the same lane and a third single-track motor vehicle preceding directly the second single-track motor vehicle are detected with the aid of a surroundings sensor system. The lateral offset of the second single-track motor vehicle and of the third single-track motor vehicle are ascertained with regard to the single-track motor vehicle. The target object being selected for the method for distance control as a function of at least one of the lateral offsets.

  • Patent number: 11267449
Abstract: A motorcycle, including method and control unit for controlling an active steering influence system, which is for actively influencing steering motions on a front wheel. A driver assistance system is for effectuating, with control instructions to components of the motorcycle, longitudinal accelerations. The driver assistance and active steering influence systems are for a signal communication with each other, e.g., via lines. The driver assistance system is for outputting, before/while outputting a control instruction, a signal instruction to the active steering influence system so that the active steering influence system, via an active modification of its state, counters a change of a movement direction, which is associated with the longitudinal acceleration to be effectuated with the control instruction.

  • Publication number: 20210387620
Abstract: A method for controlling a speed or proximity control system of a two-wheeled motor vehicle. In the method, a voice command of the rider of the two-wheeled motor vehicle is picked up by a microphone; and at least one parameter of the speed or proximity control system is adjusted as a function of the voice command.

  • Publication number: 20210362712
Abstract: A method for influencing and/or deactivating a cruise control system of a single-track motor vehicle, in which, after the activation of the method by the driver, the speed of a second motor vehicle traveling directly ahead is ascertained, the speed of the preceding motor vehicle is adopted by the motor vehicle, and a driver warning regarding the deactivation of the cruise control system, which has taken place or is impending, taking place with the aid of a haptic signal and the cruise control system being deactivated if a predefined minimum speed is undershot.

  • Publication number: 20200290602
Abstract: A method for controlling movement for a single-track motor vehicle. The distance from or the speed relative to a vehicle following behind the motor vehicle is sensed by a rear driving-environment sensor system sensing the rearward area behind the motor vehicle. In response to a drop below a distance limiting value or if a relative-speed limiting value is exceeded, warning information is output for the driver of the single-track motor vehicle.
