  • Publication number: 20240253812
Abstract: A device configured to warn a pilot flying an aircraft that erroneous data have been entered into a secondary flight plan, to monitor pressure in a cabin of the aircraft, to monitor operation of at least one engine of the aircraft, to determine a capacity of the pilot flying and to automatically activate an escape route when a depressurization of the cabin is detected or when a failure of at least one engine is detected and when an incapacitation of the pilot flying is detected. Also a method and an aircraft with such a device.

  • Publication number: 20240203273
Abstract: A method and system for assisting a pilot of an aircraft when the aircraft is taxiing on a traffic lane of an airport are described. The system includes a unit for receiving at least a part of a path (TR) to be followed by the aircraft (AC) on the airport, a unit for surveying the airport so as to be able to detect a characteristic element of a traffic lane taken by the aircraft (AC), to determine a current relative position of the aircraft (AC) with respect to the characteristic element detected and to deduce therefrom at least one assistance information item, and a unit for assisting the pilot of the aircraft (AC) when taxiing on the airport by taking into account at least this assistance information item, this assistance being able to be implemented according to a plurality of different, more or less automated, assistance modes.

  • Patent number: 9212931
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of assisting piloting an aircraft. The method is performed when the real position of a symbol for display lies outside the display limit of the screen. The symbol is representative of a parameter associated with the dynamic behavior of the aircraft (FPV, . . . ) or liable to influence said behavior (FD, . . . ). The symbol possesses two components, and the first component is to be given precedence on display over the second component. In the method, the display of the symbol depends firstly on the orthogonal projection (FPV-lock) of the real position (FPV) of the symbol onto the axis of the first component, and secondly on the position of said projection relative to the display limit of the screen. Such a display makes it possible to give reliable information to the pilot.
