  • Publication number: 20220098402
Abstract: A polymer composition comprises: a) at least one block thermoplastic elastomer comprising at least one elastomer block and at least one thermoplastic block, the elastomer block(s) predominantly comprising units derived from butadiene, the thermoplastic block(s) consisting of units derived from one or more styrene monomers, b) at least one plasticizer selected from butadiene oligomers with: b1) the molar content of 1,2-polybutadiene units in said plasticizer is within a range of from 70% to 130% of that in the elastomer block of the thermoplastic elastomer, and the molar mass of the plasticizer is greater than 1500 and less than 50 000 g/mol, or else b2) the molar content of 1,2-polybutadiene units in the plasticizer is less than 70%, or greater than 130%, of that in the elastomer block of the thermoplastic elastomer, and the molar mass of the plasticizer is greater than 4000 and less than 50 000 g/mol.

  • Publication number: 20210230401
Abstract: A rubber composition is based on at least one predominant vinylaromatic diene elastomer, a reinforcing filler, a crosslinking system, and a polyphenylene ether resin which has a number-average molecular mass (Mn) within a range from 800 to 1500 g/mol and a general formula (I): in which the groups R independently of one another represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical and n is between 6 and 12. Semi-finished tire products and tires comprise this composition.

  • Publication number: 20170327617
Abstract: An elastomer laminate comprising three layers is provided. The first layer consists of a diene rubber composition comprising a first elastomer matrix, the second layer consists of a diene rubber composition comprising a second elastomer matrix, which second elastomer matrix comprises a second elastomer comprising ethylene units and diene units comprising a carbon-carbon double bond, which units are randomly distributed within the second elastomer, and the third layer consists of a diene rubber composition comprising a third diene elastomer having a content by weight of diene units of greater than 50% The second layer is arranged between the first layer and the third layer. Such a laminate has good resistance to separation of the layers which constitute it.

  • Publication number: 20170198114
Abstract: The present invention relates to an aircraft tire, the tread of which comprises a rubber composition based on at least one first diene elastomer, a reinforcing filler and a crosslinking system, which first diene elastomer comprises ethylene units and diene units comprising a carbon-carbon double bond, which units are distributed randomly within the first diene elastomer, the ethylene units representing at least 50 mol % of the combined monomer units of the first diene elastomer. Such a tire exhibits a performance on landing which is greatly improved, in particular with regard to the wear resistance at very high speeds.

  • Patent number: 9624359
Abstract: The invention relates to a functionalized diene elastomer composed: a) of a diene elastomer functionalized, at the chain end or in the middle of the chain, by a tin functional group, exhibiting a monomodal distribution of molecular weights before functionalization and a polydispersity index before functionalization of less than or equal to 1.3, b) of a diene elastomer star-branched with a tin compound, exhibiting a monomodal distribution of molecular weights before star-branching and a polydispersity index before star-branching of less than or equal to 1.3, and c) of a content of less than 15% by weight, with respect to the total weight of the functionalized diene elastomer, of a non-tin-functional diene elastomer, the said diene elastomers a), b) and c) being, before optional functionalization or optional star-branching, the same in nature.
