  • Patent number: 11492093
Abstract: A system for displaying the state of an aircraft cargo door. The cargo door is configured pivot between a closed position and an open position, the closed and open positions defining a pivoting range. The cargo door is lockable both in the closed position and in the open position. The cargo door is in a regular state when locked in the closed position or the open position. The cargo door is in a warning state when in the pivoting range between the closed position and open position. The cargo door is in a faulty state when unlocked in the closed position or unlocked in the open position or when there is an obstacle in the pivoting range. The cargo door comprises at least one indicator configured to display the respective state of the cargo door, the indicator being detectable from a distance of at least 7.5 m.

  • Patent number: 11293209
Abstract: A device for controlling a door of a vehicle includes a drive unit that pivots the door between closed and open positions, wherein the closed and open positions define a pivoting range of the door. The device includes a control unit to control the drive unit. The device also includes a sensor unit that monitors the pivoting range. The sensor unit transmits a collision signal when an object is in the pivoting range while the drive unit is pivoting the door. The control unit transmits a switch-off signal to the drive unit if the control unit receives the collision signal.

  • Patent number: 11136106
Abstract: A system for detecting overpressure in an aircraft including a door with a door frame and a door leaf with a first and second door leaf face. The door is mountable in an aircraft where the first door leaf face faces the interior and the second door leaf face faces the surroundings of the aircraft. The door leaf is movably attached to the door frame and selectively movable between an opened position where a door opening defined by the door frame is accessible and a closed position where the door leaf closes off the door opening. The door has a pair of contact faces including a first contact face on the door leaf and a second contact face on the door frame.

  • Patent number: 10472085
Abstract: A differential pressure sensor system for use in an aircraft comprises a differential pressure sensor for determining a differential pressure between a pressurizable aircraft cabin and an aircraft environment, the differential pressure sensor having a first port connectable to the pressurizable aircraft cabin via a first line and a second port connectable to the aircraft environment via a second line. A shut-off device of the differential pressure sensor system is arranged in the second line which is switchable between an open position in which it opens the second line, such that a pressure prevailing in the aircraft environment acts on the second port of the differential pressure sensor, and a shut-off position in which it closes the second line, such that the second port of the differential pressure sensor is shut off from the pressure prevailing in the aircraft environment.

  • Patent number: 9010685
Abstract: A guiding mechanism is disclosed for moving a cargo door into extended cargo door positions to open and into a retracted cargo door position to close at least one section of an opening of a loading hatch on a fuselage of an aircraft. A first structural component in the form of the cargo door is pivotably supported on a second structural component on a front lateral edge by a pivot joint arranged in a pivoting axis in order to assume the extended cargo door positions on the loading hatch. The guiding mechanism features at least one actuator for moving the cargo door, a supporting device arranged on an actuating element, and a spring mechanism on the actuator for exerting a compressive force.
