  • Publication number: 20220340418
Abstract: A process for the production of hydrogen by thermal energy based on a closed metal-chloride material cycle, where in the hydrogen release segment the metal is oxidized with hydrochloric acid at room temperature and in the regeneration segment the metal ions are reduced by heat treatment. This is a closed-cycle technological material flow, carried out by use of thermal energy and enables the production of hydrogen at room temperature on the basis of a solid energy carrier represented by metals. The process includes three main technological segments: an oxidation segment in which oxidation of a hydrogen-releasing metal is performed, a regeneration segment in which metal ions are reduced for metal regeneration, and a gaseous HCl capture segment in which gaseous HCl is dissolved in water. The material cycle is closed; there are no emissions or waste. Only water enters the process while hydrogen and oxygen exit.

  • Patent number: 10906805
Abstract: The method includes two technological segments (i) a reduction segment and (ii) an oxidation segment that are interconnected by various support technological processes for the regeneration of solutions and gases and heat recuperation. The reduction segment includes an electrolysis that is performed from a solution of chloride salts of an energy carrier. During the electrolysis, these elements reduce to a lower oxidation state, solidify on the electrodes or precipitate to a solid state. The solid substance thus obtained is the energy carrier that can be stored outside of the electrolyser until a need for additional energy emerges. During the electrolysis, chlorine gas develops that is collected and dissolved in water. An HCl solution is regenerated, which is used in the oxidation segment. Oxygen is released in this process.

  • Patent number: 7816293
Abstract: A ceramic mixed system is proposed that includes a two-phase mixture of pure components A and B, wherein phase A is based on the cubic to tetragonal modification of Bi3NbO7 and phase B is based on a monoclinic pyrochlore modification of Bi2(Zn2/3Nb4/3)O7. The electrical properties of ceramics produced therefrom make the material suitable for components having a multilayer structure in which capacitors and inductors are integrated and which can be used in data processing or signal processing.

  • Patent number: 6956001
Abstract: A ceramic material includes at least two different components. Each of the components is present in separate phases. Each of the components has a perovskite structure which contains silver in A positions and niobium or tantalum in B positions. A composition of a first component and a composition of a second component has respective permittivities TK?A and TK?B. In the ceramic material, temperature components of the permittivities TK?A and TK?B have different signs within a temperature interval.

  • Patent number: 6843956
Abstract: A method of producing a ceramic object includes producing particles of a type A and a type B. Each particle has a dimension of at least 5 ?m and each type of particle includes a ceramic material that is based on a mixture of silver oxide, niobium oxide and tantalum oxide. The method includes producing a particle mixture by mixing the types of particles, producing a green compact by compressing the particle mixture, and sintering the green compact.

  • Publication number: 20040048732
Abstract: The invention relates to a ceramic material that contains at least two different components, each of which is present in phases separate from one another, in which each of the components exhibits a perovskite structure, which contains silver in the A positions and niobium and tantalum in the B positions, and in which the composition of a component A and the composition of a component B is each selected in such a way that the temperature coefficients of their relative permittivities TK&egr;A and TK&egr;B exhibit different signs within a temperature interval. The mixing ratio of component A to component B is advantageously selected in such a way as to produce, in keeping with the Lichtenecker rule, the most complete compensation possible of the temperature dependency of the temperature coefficients of the relative permittivities TK&egr;A and TK&egr;B.
