Abstract: Equipment, such as one or more displays, may be mounted on a console. Conventional equipment mounting structures, such as a slat rail, may be static and/or not allow for easy or simple adjustment of their position relative to the work surface. An apparatus for use with a console is provided that includes an equipment mounting structure for mounting equipment thereto and a position adjustment assembly attachable to the console. The equipment mounting structure is mounted to and supported by the position adjustment assembly, the position adjustment assembly includes at least one of: a horizontal adjustment mechanism for adjusting a horizontal position of the equipment mounting structure relative to the console; and a vertical adjustment mechanism for adjusting a vertical position of the equipment mounting structure relative to the console.

Abstract: Customer service counters with specialized equipment may be used in airports and other settings. Counters in an airport may be used, for example, for ticketing, check-in, and baggage drop off services. Some aspects of the disclosure provide a modular counter system including a counter comprising at least one counter section. Each counter section includes a respective upper panel comprising a respective work surface, and a respective equipment pedestal bay, below the upper panel, for receiving one or more respective portable equipment pedestals therein. The system may further include the one or more respective portable equipment pedestals for each counter section. Each portable equipment pedestal is receivable within the corresponding equipment pedestal bay. The portable equipment pedestals may be configured for a particular user and/or service and may be swapped with one or more other pedestals configured for a different user and/or service.

Abstract: According to an aspect, there is provided a frame module for a console. The frame module comprises first and second spaced apart leg frames and respective upper and lower elongated frame sections extending between and interconnecting the first and second leg frames. The frame module may also comprise an intermediate frame section that is horizontally adjustable along the length of the upper and lower frame sections. Two or more frame modules may be connected to form a console frame structure. The console frame structure may comprise at least one pivot connection between the second leg frame of the first frame module and the first leg frame of the second frame module. For each pivot connection, the console frame structure may also include at least one support member pivotably connected to the first and second frame modules by the pivot connection.

Abstract: Slat walls and slat rails are used for mounting various equipment such as displays. According to an aspect, there is provided an equipment mounting assembly comprising at least one slat pane, at least one upright support member, and for each upright support member, a respective connector for mounting the upright support member to a structure. Each slat panel includes a respective plurality of horizontal slats on a front face thereof. Each slat panel is mounted to the at least one upright support member at a rear face thereof. Two or more slat panels may be stacked. The connector may include a collar portion that engages an upper panel of a console or other structure.

Many existing technical furniture and consoles are custom manufactured, but may be expensive and/or cumbersome to design and assemble. According to some embodiments, there is provided a console support structure that includes two or more leg structures horizontally spaced apart. Each leg structure includes a respective base and at least one respective vertically adjustable support mounted on the base. For each adjacent pair of leg structure, a respective elongated lateral support structure extends between and interconnects the first and second leg structures. At least one work surface may be mounted on and supported by the vertically adjustable supports of the leg structures.

In one aspect, a console module unit is provided comprising a frame, the frame comprising first and second spaced apart frame sections, each frame section comprising two spaced apart side supports and two spaced apart lateral supports, each lateral support disposed between and forming junctions with corresponding ends of the side supports, and a plurality of cross supports interconnecting the first and second frame sections, wherein at least one of the side, lateral, and cross supports is in the form of an extrusion, the extrusion defining at least one re-entrant channel extending in a direction of its longitudinal axis, the at least one re-entrant channel for receiving at least a portion of a coupler. In another aspect, a modular console system comprising at least two console modules is provided.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a framework for supporting pieces of work station equipment, and in particular to a console structure for supporting electronic equipment such as computers, video displays, control panels and the like. The present disclosure provides a console structure generally comprising a cabinet structure and a support structure. The cabinet structure generally defines an interior space for receiving equipment, whereas the support structure is typically disposed at the back side of the cabinet and extends above the cabinet for supporting equipment on the exterior of the cabinet. In at least one embodiment, the console has reduced dimensions to provide enhanced downward sightlines over the console. Furthermore, in at lease one embodiment, the interior dimensions of the cabinet structure are maximized by providing a cabinet frame comprised of one or more compact frame members.

In one aspect, a console module unit is provided comprising a frame, the frame comprising first and second spaced apart frame sections, each frame section comprising two spaced apart side supports and two spaced apart lateral supports, each lateral support disposed between and forming junctions with corresponding ends of the side supports, and a plurality of cross supports interconnecting the first and second frame sections, wherein at least one of the side, lateral, and cross supports is in the form of an extrusion, the extrusion defining at least one re-entrant channel extending in a direction of its longitudinal axis, the at least one re-entrant channel for receiving at least a portion of a coupler. Abstract: The present invention relates to adjustable mounts, and in particular to an adjustable mount that can be selectively locked in position by way of a position locking mechanism. The mount assembly generally comprises a base coupleable to a structure, a tilt plate coupleable to the device and pivotally connected to the base, and a position locking mechanism. The position locking mechanism generally comprises a linkage member extending between the base and the tilt plate, and a lock that is selectively adjustable between an unlocked state in which the linkage member is free to move relative the base thereby allowing the tilt plate to pivot about the base, and a locked state in which the linkage member is retained in position by the lock relative the base thereby preventing the tilt plate from pivoting about the base.
